Went to Kay Jewelers to have a watch band adjusted. The employees were so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this jewelry store.

Excellent goods. Sales people are knowledgeable and attentive. Priced right. A lot of walking. Great parking. Needs salad bar and drinks stand. Has your great bus.

Nancy S — Google review

Been going here for over 18 years now. I worked at multiple stores a long time ago there's a lot of great stores here. Especially bath n body works. Hot topic the kitchen store pac sun, there's a coach discount store here. Over 5o stores here. They also have sketcher's, Nike, famous footwear, I don't like shopping with large crowds and luckily I'm only 5 minutes drive from here so I go at 10 am when they open. Definitely check it out they also have coupon books gift cards and great deals

Great Place! I loved LA7 ! The entire store was 8.99 😃 we got so many summer items!!!

Anan S — Google review

Always loved this mall. I wish stores stayed longer but it’s a wonderful place to get shopping done. Everything is kept clean especially the bathrooms. Love Tanger!!!

Emma F — Google review

This "Outlet Mall" is very disappointing. Close to half of the storefronts are permanently closed and have been for sometime. The ones that are still in business have very inflated prices and are offering 20 to 40 percent discounts, bringing the sale price close to retail prices. My wife and I have been shopping there since it opened but doubt we'll be going back.

Bruce J — Google review

Texted this morning to check on mini golf since the website says nothing about where to get the clubs from and was told it was open and the get clubs from the tattoo parlor. Drove an hour only to find a sign that they were closed for mother's day. I had a very upset, crying 5 year old that was looking forward to playing mini golf here. This place really needs a guest relations office again. I doubt I'll be shopping here again.

Brandy N — Google review

Big, clean very nice outlet. We were surprised with the prices ❤️ minimum 50% discount 💃🏻 🕺 feom toys to shoes, especially shoes 💕 . Highly recommended

Esen S — Google review

I really like Tanger Outlet. The selection of stores is great and parking a breeze! I love the Bath & Body Works outlet! Not only do they have what the mall stores have, but they have sale items the regular stores don't.The customer service office is always so helpful. If you have questions, they seem to have an answer. There are conveniently located 🚻 within the mall & they are always clean.Whatever I need, Tanger has. Stop in & see for yourself!

Michele W — Google review

Could use some more varied offerings, but what it does, it does well. Would like to see a bit more variance in the offerings. I love Michael Kors and Nike. 👟

Joel K — Google review

Good access to the Freeway 96. Many popular bland shops. Recently Adidas outlet store is back outlet mall again. It is nice place to shop and find a good deal here, but not many eating places inside the mall. Wish this mall has a food court even smaller size.

Yoshi K — Google review

Really enjoyed the shops and mini golf! Me and my 3 yr old did a few holes and then got free ice cream! Nice promotion for July. Since we had a membership I was free and kids under 6 are free for mini golf. It was a nice time outside:)

Kim S — Google review

Took my 2 year old nephew who’s potty training to the men’s room while the women’s room was closed and a maintenance guy came and threatened to kick us out!

Rylie R — Google review

It's my first time visit to Tanger outlets. It's built in a very huge area, there are many different factors outlet stores here that includes GUESS, GAP, CALVIN KLEIN etc. Prices are reasonable and there are plenty of varieties of inventory available. Best during summer. People typically spend about 2 to 3 hours here. The main advantage of the outlets is the price, inventory and you find lot of competitors for each product. This is little far from the place I live. Rest everything is fine.

Anji T — Google review

So many great shops! It's been our go to for back to school shopping. The outlets have shops that fit each of my kids style...and Mom usually finds a thing or too as well 😉

Cat B — Google review

The people in the tattoo shop were friendly and helpful when I came in and asked about miniature golf. Two guys maintaining the golf area were friendly and considerate as well.

Carolee G — Google review

Unfortunately for this mall it has gone downhill there's not much there and what is there is it okay but there is no food or dining areas for people to congregate anymore making it hard to socialize and get food since what's around is across the street and there are no sidewalks however their store staff is friendly but they're accessibility is lacking in getting in and out of stores and getting in and out of the bathrooms highly not recommended for people in wheelchairs who want to be independent if you want to bring someone with you that is fine but if you want access to food and beverage all there is is snack machines in the bathroom area if you can get the door open

Whit T — Google review

Very cool shopping center with a variety of stores and great deals! Also located next to some restaurants in case you get hungry.

Briseida R — Google review

Got what I came for, but the stores keep changing. I guess that's a great reason to keep coming back. Lol. I love that there are clean bathrooms that are accessible to everyone.

Cindy Z — Google review

It’s a nice outlet has many good shops and prices but they need to add some foodie shops or restaurants we had to leave the area 15 min away to go to the only restaurant there. Tomato brothers Italian.

NASCAR complex offers a 12,000-seat stadium & 2-mi. oval plus a massive campground with amenities.

My favorite week of the year is for the August race. I've been camping on and off for 20 years, started in Northfield and the last 15 in Brooklyn Trails. I enjoy the atmosphere, many neighbors are the same year to year. Upgraded to the Champions Club in 2021 and it is worth every penny. Great food and air conditioning, nice seats with a good view.

Katie S — Google review

It was an awesome time. Menard gave me the vip tickets and fuel for hospitality at the track provided the amenities. Food and drinks, walk through the garage area and walk through pit lane, which we were allowed to watch the race in. The best part was we got to go 2 laps in a pace car. They also had a motor home we could sit in.

Terry J — Google review

I was there to volunteer for 2023 Electric Formula SAE competition! It was so fun!!

Ali R — Google review

Michigan's longest NASCAR track, right here in Brooklyn, MI! This place, and the surrounding areas become very, very busy on race day, so be prepared! Can get very hot and noisy very fast, stay hydrated and keep that sunblock handy! Lots of people, keep those kids close! Ive had the experience of actually racing on this track thru the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience, after a crash course NASCAR driving school, no pun intended, I did 15 laps by myself, no coach or anything! If you get the chance, I highly recommend trying the experience for yourself when it comes around!

Sean Q — Google review

I've been going to M.I.S. since I was a kid and I've never had a bad time. This past Sunday/Monday, I was able to bring my son-in-law for his first NASCAR race, and I can happily say that he's hooked.

Awesome, I realized a dream. Visiting the Speedway that I watched several Nascar and Indy races, I can't have enough words to describe it.

Fabio D — Google review

Just checking it out. When I went to WV, they were advertising the Irish Hills, I was impressed that our Michigan race was advertised that far away. It is impressive, and all the RV parks close by

Joyce B — Google review

Great track located in Brooklyn Michigan. This is the 8th NASCAR track I’ve been to and they’re all amazing and unique.Traffic in and out was as usual, slow. It’s expected. There’s plenty of vendors but lines were long.Food trucks were located in an open area and there was covered seating available.Entry was slow and unorganized. This is an area that needs improvement. It took about 40 minutes to get through security.Restrooms were very clean and plentiful.Food vendors inside were friendly and quick. In order to view the entire track I would recommend sitting above row 24.Shuttles were available from the track to the track affiliated campgrounds and to distant parking lots such as Graves Family Campground. But the shuttle lines were long.Overall this was a great racing experience.

Dottie G — Google review

Awesome place. Michigan CAT keeps the backup generators in top shape just in case the power goes out!!

Adam T — Google review

We have been going to MIS for over 25 years now. The race has slowly become boring with so many rule changes through the years. Miss Winston Cup days. We mainly go for the comradery and camping now. Still give 5 stars for the week long experience, though.

Keith K — Google review

First time at a race. Went with family that have been many times. This place is huge. Lots of bathrooms in facility or Porta Potty's that are in parking lots. Decent food and drink offerings. Even though you are in basically bleacher seats, there is enough room that you can move. The seats have backs on them so that is nice. You can bring in backpacks and soft-sided coolers with food and drinks!!!!! The atmosphere is awesome because of how big the track is. Only negative was the parking. For some reason they had most gates closed to enter the speedway which made it very difficult to leave.

Debbie M — Google review

First time visiting, long time fan! Parking seemed great at first then we realized that we actually were parked way out in lot 14 and had a long walk. The walk was nice until we passed under the bridge then we had to dodge shuttle busses. This seemed like a small inconvenience, then when we went to enter the facility on Sunday the lines were terrible! This system struggled on Sunday and I heard Monday was just as bad. Everything else was enjoyable! We will be back in the future!

Adam A — Google review

My Dad and I have been coming to MIS for more years than we can count. We used to come for the Father's Day race every year but now they only have one NASCAR race in August. Purchasing tickets is very simple and I renew every year. They have a great payment plan if that is something you need. The bleachers are not very comfortable for a 3+ hour race but you can rent cushioned seats or bring your own which helps a lot! The food is really good with a pretty decent variety but you can also bring your own! The parking is in a huge field and very uneven. You'll want to get to a cross road as soon as you can to avoid huge holes. There is not a bad seat in the stadium and the view is amazing! There are plenty of restrooms all over the track area which is really nice.

Jennifer M — Google review

Had an amazing time at the NASCAR race. I am a veteran and the wounded warrior project was invited out to hold the glad during the national anthem and it was such a pleasure. The race was rained out but I still had a great time. Great service, great food and great atmosphere.

Krystal W — Google review

I've been here 3 times and as a race fan it dosen't disappoint , decent food for the price , facilities are pretty clean and the racing and fan interaction is really good , get the pit pass and you will appreciate the experience, camping is good but a little loud at night .

Duane G — Google review

Checked this track off of our bucket list. Rain, of course, pushed the cup race to Monday. Had a great time regardless. My ONLY complaint is that the people directing traffic entering the parking lots need a better system. Multiple people pointing you in different directions so cars were all over the place. Otherwise, it was a great time. See ya next time.

Mandy L — Google review

A great way to spend a day. Make sure you allow time for traffic in and traffic out, but mostly to make sure you visit all of the exhibits and wait in line for a few minutes to see the various celebrities. The track is a little on the old side, but it is fast and interesting. Pre-race activities are definitely worth it.

BcOneSeven — Google review

Been here several times for races and Faster Horses. Always a very good time. Great staff. Well run venue.

Robert G — Google review

Been to multiple truck races here and me and the family have had a great time at all of them so far. There has been good staff getting you in the entrance quickly and there is plenty of food options. The extra activities and shops/tents/trailers for gear and activities have all been fun. Getting out after has never taken too long compared to other venues and shows. Have fun at the races!!!

Brian B — Google review

Had a fantastic time at Michigan international speedway (1st time for me at this track) me and my husband drove up from Indiana to watch the race as we were invited by his good friend from school Homer, we sat in the middle of the trac in a suit and what an experience it was especially for me , everyone was so nice ,the staff were so very friendly,I got to see the pit crews and a few drivers ,didn't get to meet any but hey this was an awesome time , we did get rained out and didn't get to see the whole race ,it was postponed til Monday and I wanted to stay and come back so bad lol I wanted to see the race and possibly meet the winner 🏆, we did try to find a motel,WOW what a task that was ,no luck there so he decided we drive back home ( I was disappointed but I did enjoy the time I was there) Thank you Homer for the invite it was amazing for me and I appreciate it. 🌹

Adrenaline & Extreme Tours

High-speed racing venue where visitors can drive or ride along in an authentic NASCAR vehicle.

Before I left for my road trip at the end of June, beginning of July last year, I had noticed that a session of the NASCAR racing experience was taking place not too far from Indianapolis. I had booked 2 laps as a passenger in a NASCAR car, something I really wanted to do, having discovered this competition about fifteen years ago. The only downside was that the weather was quite wet, which postponed the various driving sessions until later in the day. Very well organized.

Tchi T — Google review

Wow what a great time this past weekend at Michigan international speedway with everybody from the NASCAR racing experience!Bought an 8 minute drive time for my son who just graduated high school. Everybody was friendly everybody was helpful. I'll have to be the one to go next time I highly recommend it.We even took one of his friends that didn't know how to drive a manual transmission and everybody was very eager to help.

I took my 17 and 16yr old kids today to get them more interested in the sport I love .. We had to wait 2hrs just for a helmet. Seems like you have 20 small and XL but only a hand full of medium and large. They had a AMAZING time once they got into the car but that was another 90mins. We had an appointment but it seems walk ins overran the place and having a time didn't matter!!

Terry P — Google review

They experience was fantastic, but not long enough. 8 minutes is not enough it should be 10 minutes or longer

Horsestew — Google review

The staff and from what I understand, the volunteers, are fantastic and very helpful!

Cyber G — Google review

Don't expect good customer service.I paid for 6 laps and a few upgrades. When I got off pit road my head phones went silent so I did one lap around the apron of the track before pulling into the pits, this counted as 2 laps. When they sent me back out and I got up to speed they had me do 3 laps then told me it my checkered lap. Then afterwards told me to go ahead and stay in it through turn 3 this was my fourth lap since most people get their checkered after their last lap and pull off the race line in the back stretch I don't think this should have counted as a lap. When I talked to the lady at the trailer about it see said there's nothing she can do. She was very dissimive and didn't seem to care. The experience was cool but I only got 3 and 3/4 out of my 6 laps I paid for.@hoonsier

Chris H — Google review

The 3 laps were lots of fun but the ride was way too short. The dedinitely need to improve the overall experience also.

Jason A — Google review

8 laps really means 6 at a heavily governed speed, your warmup lap and slow down lap are taken out of your total... Still a good time minus the slight disappointments

William T — Google review

Just freaking AWESOME!! If you ever thought about wanting to do a ride along, or even better, a Driving Experience, then DO IT!!

The Purple Rose Theatre Company is a small, cozy venue that showcases both modern and classic performances for its audience. In addition to theatrical productions, the theater also offers educational programs. Despite some minor prompting during a recent show, the quality of performances is usually exceptional. The theater currently requires masks and proof of vaccination while limiting capacity in accordance with safety guidelines. Diners can enjoy nearby eateries such as Common Grill before or after shows at this intimate performing arts destination.

We couldn't have seen a better play anywhere! The entire staff is always amazing to us volunteers, especially Kelly today, the house manager. The equity actors are just the best! The stage is in an intimate area, with not a bad seat in the house. You must catch a play here at the Purple Rose Theater.

Just a gem 💎 of a place.Today (9/29/24) was our third visit. So what makes it a 💎?Well, it's a doable day trip if your in the tricounty areaI-94Exit #1595 minutes north.Abundant parking abounds. (free)Thought that only existed in Monopoly.Today's play, which opened on 9/26/24Was a Jeff Daniels screenplay he wrote from a " up north". We saw the play Diva Royale, and it was spectacular!! What a cleverly performed play. The actors were wonderful and made the time fly by. This is a theater in the round, and the actors did not have any props at all. But even so, you knew exactly what they were doing and wanted you to understand. Overall, it was an excellent performance and one that we tremendously enjoyed. I highly recommend the Purple Rose Theater and Diva Royale!!!

Susan D — Google review

I haven't seen a live performance in a long time. The office Christmas party was excellent. Very funny and I enjoyed it. It's ninety minutes long and keeps your attention. The actors are superb. The theater was clean and allot of leg room at our seats. No drinks or food are allowed. Phones need to be shut off. It is well worth going.

Missy U — Google review

Small, intimate theater. Not a bad seat in the house, and tickets are incredibly reasonable, especially for live entertainment. The show was hilarious! We totally enjoyed ourselves and plan on buying tickets for the next production.

Candace K — Google review

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Preview performance of Diva Royal at the Purple Rose Theater, written and directed by Jeff Daniels. I took my mother, and we both had a wonderful time. We lost my father only a couple months ago so just like Jeff said "We needed a laugh".The show is a hilarious and heartwarming comedy. The cast is superb, and Daniels' direction is spot-on.While the show may seem to be tailored to older women, I assure you that it is enjoyable for audiences of all ages and genders. The humor is universal, and the characters are relatable.I was particularly impressed by the Q&A session with Jeff Daniels after the show. He was gracious and insightful, and he shared some great stories about his career.Overall, I highly recommend Diva Royal. It is a well-written, well-acted, and well-directed show that will leave you laughing and feeling good.PS I hope you enjoy the photos I took before and after the show. I understand the rules about video and photography, so I made sure to only take pictures when the show wasn't in progress.

Will R — Google review

The venue is intimate, the performances were amazing, and this first play that I saw was outstanding! My group has already decided that we will be making play performances at the Purple Rose Theater a regular thing for us! I already can't wait for the next one!

Diva Royale was an excellent show!!! The actors were amazing, very talented, very entertaining! It was my first time taking in a show at the Purple Rose Theatre. I really enjoyed the show! Do yourself a favor, and see a show at The Purple Rose. Then have lunch or dinner at one of Chelsea's restaurants. Great time at the Rose, FIVE STARS! Great job Jeff!!!

Went to "What Springs Forth" tonight. Hilarious play! Wonderful acting! This was my first visit to this theatre but won't be my last. Staff were very nice and venue is intimate.

Jane J — Google review

A jewel of a local theatre, putting on a wealth of world class productions every year! Enjoy an intimate round setting where you could reach out and touch the actors. They excel in every genre, and all nestled in gorgeous and accessible downtown Chelsea!

Thomas D — Google review

Had an awesome time here! We both enjoyed Diva Royale and are already looking forward to the next show. The layout is more intimate, at least for the show we attended. The viewers surrounded the stage and it was a funny, interactive experience.

Tom C — Google review

One of the best small town theaters you will ever attend. So glad they added additional seating. Easy walk to resturants before or after a show. Highly recommend

Diane J — Google review

We have been to the Purple Rose several times. This time we saw The Antichrist Cometh. The show was excellent. The Purple Rose is a terrific venue without a bad seat in the house. The cast has always been fabulous. The theater’s location is perfect right in downtown Chelsea. We always enjoy dinner before or after the show in one of several dining spots a short walk from the Purple Rose. Highly recommend and will go again!

Therese G — Google review

Loved "Office Christmas Party". Very funny, very well done. The venue is intimate and very comfortable. I will definitely be going again for another upcoming production.

JoeAndLinda Z — Google review

From new works to zoom play readings, each and every event is well-executed with quality and expertise. One of my favorite venues because I know I will not be disappointed.

Amy B — Google review

Enegetic play written and directed by Jeff Daniels, Diva Royale. A bit manic, definitely geared toward a younger crowd than the seniors at midweek afternoon. Lone male had the hardest part playing mutiple characters with constant costume changes. Fun, but not one of better plays I've seen there.A little selfie with main subject, Celine.

Mark G — Google review

I’ve always wanted to attend a show at the Purple Rose and with my wife being a Pickleball club President we finally found an excuse to go. The new Pickleball show was a hoot. Funny, charming and very well written. The messages and themes will resonate with every fan of Pickleball. Great performances by the entire cast. Might be a little lost if you don’t know the game but the theatre atmosphere would make up for it. If I could give one tip. I’ve never sat so close to a stage. Try and get a front row seat.

Ron H — Google review

We enjoyed 'What Springs Forth" very much. It was filled with energy. Chelsea is a beautiful town. 2 days later we spotted Jeff Daniels at a local Golf Tournament!

Purple Rose is a very nice and intimate theater. There is not a bad seat in the house. The staff were friendly and helpful. The show was delightful. I look forward to attending shows in the future.

Amazing experience! Ordered the tickets in advance, very cooperative about helping us change to more favorable seats and easy pickup at the window. Great play, quite intense / intimate with the actors at floor level with no barriers between them and the seats, even coming down the aisles at times between the sections. No bad seat in the house. Just an awesome time and we will certainly be coming back!

A fabulous little theater! The play and actors were great, the location is perfect, and the seats very comfortable. Jeff Daniels did a splendid job. Will be back!

Donut shop

Family-run farm with pick-your-own apples, hay wagon rides & a huge corn maze, plus a winery.

The donuts inside are we're good. They had a really nice play place for the kids to play. For some of the rides you need to purchase tickets. They had some farm animals. There was a train ride that took you around the orchard. They do take credit cards. The cider and donut line moved extremely fast!

Adam R — Google review

This was a great place to meet up with family members. We paid for our wristbands and got our bags to take out to the Apple orchard. The hayride to get to the apples was nice. You could get off and stop at different areas of the orchard to get different types of apples. There were also raspberries available. With the wristbands from the apple picking we were able to access the animal area and the playground area too. The gift shop was really nice and the cider and donuts are delicious.

Cyndee R — Google review

A family run farm with a market and winery that is open year round. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was not too crowded. You pay 3.00 a person to pick. They take you by wagon to the orchards. When you are done picking, they weigh your container and you pay for your berries. We picked a pint of raspberries and a container of blueberries. They also have a sunflower field that you cut your own sunflowers..$10 for 5.Next up will be peaches in August. Apple picking is the most popular but they do sell fresh donuts, cider and fudge year round in the market. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are super friendly. After picking we sat in the outdoor area by the tasting room to sample some of their wines and ciders. They also have a kitchen serving a few food items. The Coney Dog was amazing! For a fun day out in the country, Spicers is the place to go.

John M — Google review

We have been coming here for 3 years now and my husband’s family for even longer than that. This year we tried the apple picking and brought our baby to see the animals and playground. They have so many things to do, see and also my favorite, to eat. If you come here, don’t forget to get a hot apple cider and the donuts. My favorite is the powdered sugar ones. They have a cute store and a restaurant.I totally recommend this place and will be coming back for sure.

We sat on the winery deck and enjoyed delicious cherry wine before picking some cherries of our own and having a picnic. Such a fun experience!

Jacque S — Google review

Your #1 spot for fruits, baked goods and homemade everything! Pick yourself some great fruits all year long from cherries, blueberries, to a wide variety of apples! Local honey and wine is also available, plus homemade cider, donuts, wine and more!

Sean Q — Google review

This is a five star family experience! However the donuts and cider were not very tasty. The cider was sour, bland, and not rich. And the donuts were very oily. Also the donut line was not well optimized. We asked for some pumpkin donuts and did not receive them, even though the cashier came back three times. Come here for an amazing atmosphere and lots of things to do but skip the donuts and cider.

Syruponmyhashbrowns _ — Google review

Spicers does things right. Donuts and Cider are delicious. All kinds of activities and different food options on the weekends. Not very busy during the week and a lot of things are not open. So many different options of snacks and more inside the barn. You can ride on the hey ride and pick your own pumpkin out at the patch. Overall a great experience. Lots of parking and not a lot of waiting to purchase anything. Would definitely be back when I'm looking for a good Donut and Cider spot.

J W — Google review

We stopped here because of the good reviews and all it showed they had to offer. They have a winery that has great drinks and service! They also had a ton of stands set up where you could get hot food and snacks. They had lots for adults and kids, making it perfect for families. I have been to a lot of orchards, and this is definitely one of my favorites. Cant wait for my favorite time of the year to come back around!

Tony A — Google review

Have picked strawberries and apples here many times now and we always look forward to coming back and making great memories. The store is fun to look around in and get ice cream.cones, cider and donuts and all sorts of things. Always a nice management and staff running the place. We also love playing outside and watching the goats there.

Unless it's the weekend, there's not much to do unless you bring family or kids for the apple picking, seeing the animals, or playing at the kids play area, since a lot of services seem closed till weekends.Aside from activities, THIS is THE place where I will always pick up my cider, freshly made donuts with a variety of choices, and a wide variety of flavors from pies to apples and jams. They've even got a winery with some local flavors! My partner and I visit often.Great place for a market of cider goodies.Weekends are best for events and typical orchard ventures!

2023Still a good place to visit. They did move the food trucks. More parking for everyone. They even added live music. Not so many people because of Covid19. Still a decent amount of people. The atmosphere is still the same.I should add, the play area for the kids is only $2. A lot cheaper than Blake's.Both, Blake's and Spicers have really outdone themselves. Great job to both places for bringing meaning to "Cider Mill" or "Apple orchard".Highly recommended2016Going to many cider mills, I was not going to get excited. We heard of this place because everyone was going there. Fenton? That's pretty far away! Boy was I surprised! This place was like an amusement park for the kids. Animals, rides, food, etc. Wow. Giving this place a 10! for the effort. Wow. You really need to see this place to enjoy it. They had ZIP lines, jumping thing, etc. You can ride a pony! Pet an animal. Walk a MAZE. Enjoy a hay ride or pick apples yourself. There was about 200-300 cars out today. Sept 25, 2016. Nice numbers.Come here if you are on the West side of Detroit.Highly recommended

We came to pick apples and enjoyed the day! You pay in advance for your apple bags and then wait for the tractor wagon to pick you up and take you to the orchard. The wait wasn't long. The shoppe had a lot of things inside, including the fresh fruit, but also jams and jellies, popcorn, ice cream, donuts, cider and more.there is a play area outside that I did not see anyone at, I wonder if it is only open on the weekends. We did not pay for an admission fee. My family also enjoyed the donuts. There is also an animal area.

Kathryn F — Google review

Everything you could possibly ask for and more! Went in the off-season and cider, and donuts are still delicious! They have many bad b cue and other sauces, jams, jellies, syrup, fudge (MANY) flavors, ice cream, pop corn, cookies t- shirts, wind chimes, knick-knacks for collectors. Let's not talk about the winery! Great mixture, great options of wine and cocktails! They also have limited appetizers. When I say acres and acres! Brambles, apples, cherries, honey... can't wait until the season comes! There are playscapes, animals, corn maze, train ride on the grounds... not certain of the hours of operation. UPDATE 2024 went during harvest season, online cost and pricing was not what occurred upon attending...5$ to get in the past where the animals and rides are, a different vendor managed the rides whereby each "ride" required minimally 3 tickets, maximum was 6 tickets, most "riders" were bouncy/ inflatables, the kiddie ferris wheel was for children 6 and under based on how it was and the size, online it showed 27$ for first person and 5$each additional person to include hayride, train ride 1 donut and cider asking with the animals and tractor museum... it advertised the u-pick for apples based on the size of "bags" and type of apple you select, didn't see that option either as there wasn't any clear direction as to whom you'd pay for that service. Had a separate line near the store for the pumpkins and the cider and donuts... plenty of staff was there to assure prompt service, great to see the young people doing such a great job, just wish there was more directive to make the visit more "functional" and affordable. Signs were posted to direct you to certain events, We couldn't find the corn maze. Nice selection of food truck vendors and carnival treats, those were outside of the attractions. The crowd was beautiful, very diverse group of people. The bar was hopping. Definitely a great place to visit. Very close to the outlet mall and other attractions.

The ciders and wines are excellent and high quality. The ciders are smooth with a wide variety of flavors. The wines are very tasty especially the Honey White. The staff are friendly and helpful. A gift shop is also on property where they offer treats and specialty gifts. Highly recommend visiting and tasting a half wine flight or a full flight in the tasting room. ❤️

An adorable place to hang out for the day! Picked our own apples and raspberries, saw animals and the best part - the winery! We were served by Monica and Tonya who were the most delightful people! An amazing day 😊

Gloria S — Google review

Such nice people. A peaceful setting and quiet atmosphere. Wonderful store too. I loaded up some fresh tomatoes and peaches. Plus fresh donuts too and kettle corn and picked fresh blueberries.

Carolyn D — Google review

We went to the train ride and cabin and it was awesome. Going into the cabin to see Santa one on one made things a lot easier for our little, to give him alittle time to adjust and not get overwhelmed, and the train ride was nice for him to be able enjoy the ride and look around. I definitely recommend going and taking bc the kids. After everything, you get hot chocolate or cider and a donut.

Ashley F — Google review

Popular Fall favorite. This place can be very busy on weekends. Plenty to do to keep the kids entertained and full of sugar. Must try the cider and cider apple donuts. There are wagon hay rides that can take you to pick apples and several kid carnival style games. If it is a great weather Fall weekend be prepared to search for parking and then walking to get to the Orchard. They also have a winery that does serve some appetizers and sandwiches on certain days, check before you go.

Kensington Metropark

Park

Nature & Parks

Massive green space offers 2 beaches, a golf course & nature center with exhibits & guided hikes.

The red trail was so awesome! There is so much wildlife to see. Many birds ate birdseed right from my hand, which was an awesome experience. The restroom was nice too. It's a building, not a Porta potty.I highly recommend this place. And, in some spots, the mosquitoes & flies were a bit annoying, but other than that, they weren't that bad.

Cathy M — Google review

What an amazing experience! I love two hours away and have been telling literally everybody about this place. The staff was so sweet and helpful. They seemed to really enjoy their job. We spent most of our time hiking in the nature center. I think the only suggestion I would have, is to offer a place to buy bird seed on sure for those who forget it. It would also help control what seeds are introduced to the environment. We paused at the splash pad (not worth it for us as my two just wanted to go to the lake which was free.) We spent more time at the lake.

Kensington Metropark is a beautiful park located in Milford, Michigan. It is home to a variety of activities and amenities, making it a great place to spend a day with family and friends. We enjoyed the nature trails so many birds, chipmunks, squirrels and rabbits. Some birds came very close to us and we enjoyed seeing them so close up. The boardwalk near the nature center is a good place to spot fish and we saw a huge prehistoric looking turtle. This was a nice place to visit.

William J — Google review

Arrived midday on a Saturday and it wasn’t terribly busy. Parked at the Nature Center but noticed that dogs aren’t allowed on the trails there so we walked along the lake instead. It’s so lovely here. Wonderful place for biking, kayaking, walking, picnicking, anything at all.

Nicole R — Google review

I grew up always going to this park now I get to take my own kids there!!!! This place is great for a 2 year old and this place is great for my 15 year old and this place is great fore and my husband because we love to hike and swim with our children.

Bonnie C — Google review

Love the trails by the nature center. The birds literally eat from your hand. Beautiful hikes that are great for kids as well. Benches along the way and signs to direct you every so often along the trail. Restrooms by nature center at start of all trails. These are unpaved trails, so not really stroller friendly momma's. There are paved paths elsewhere tho! The petting farm is small, but worth visiting. There are picnic tables & several playgrounds throughout the park. There are also places to swim and rent pedal boats within the park. Being that it's a metro park there is an entrance fee paid daily or annually.

Crystal D — Google review

Beautiful park with a wonderful 8.5 loop for walkers, runners, or bikers. Nice bathrooms and boat launch for fishermen.

Ever Metro park has been a 5. The list of things to do are emence. Visit the web sites for the recreational interest you have.My pics are from the boat ride which is cheap and highly recommended. The captain was none stop with great info of the park right from the first day of construction.

This is one of my favorite parks with miles of hiking and bicycling trails, boat and kayak rentals, and sometimes an amazing Art Fair. Did I forget the beaches? Yes, and there are lots of Picknick tables and BBQ options.

Went to Kensington Metropark and it is fantastic! We visited the Nature Center and then took a 5 mile walk along the lake and went swimming. It is a very beautiful and vast park with many attractions and amenities. We greatly enjoyed our visit and will be back soon. Many thanks to the great people working at Kensington Metropark!

Kensington metro park is one of the best places to visit be it for a birthday party or a BBQ party. The park has a lake view with lovely cranes, geese’s and a few animals during summer. The park is neat with a peaceful environment to enjoy. Lovely place for hiking, boating, cycling and various interests.

Nida F — Google review

Magical green sanctuary where patience and peanuts will get you birds eating out of your hand! Sand hill cranes, turkeys, grey - red - brown squirrels, and chipmunks are all around to see! DO NOT HAND FEED raccoons - seems harmless, but puts you at risk for baylisascaris, a roundworm that goes to your brain - there is no effective treatment; raccoons excrete the eggs, which wind up on their fur and paws, and these are passed along to you, if you touch them. Stay safe!

Cystoqueen — Google review

Such a beautiful place to walk or go for a run! I did the loop around the lake with some nice hills and it was clearly marked with amazing views!

Always a great place to go for a little nature. The park is always clean and there's a variety of trails and wildlife to enjoy. It's a great place for a picnic and outdoor parties, as well as kayaking or fishing. There's also the nature center with some cool stuff for kids and adults.I highly recommend Kensington for anyone looking for an easy getaway to recharge from life.

Went for the Holi celebrations organized by Shiznay, and it led me to discover this beautiful park. You can easily spend a day here with the walking trails, kayaking, picnicking, and cycling.

Kensingron is a beautiful, hurge park with many options for things to do. We go mostly to bike ride. The trails are really well maintained. There are mostly small hills, but there is one big one. There are always deer, sand hill cranes, swans, and other birds and wildlife to check out while we are riding.

Loa F — Google review

We've been visiting the nature trails lately and feeding the birds. This is a fun family activity, and the trails are nice. Kensington is such a beautiful park, and there's so much to do. We really enjoy our adventures there!

A M — Google review

We were in the area for a regatta. The park is beautiful however you can't ask directions at the gate and you can't exit the park and come back in the same day without buying the yearly pass. I don't mind paying to park but I wasn't a fan of the situation. Also the water to the restrooms and fountains were not turned on and accessible. How are you going to invite 10,000 people to your park and not have flushable toilets.

Katie H — Google review

If you can look at a map on their website that is the best view of what the park is like. Basically it goes in a circle around the lake. I think they said the bike trail around it was 8 miles. This place is so amazing, where do I start? It has everything you could ever want in a park all in one place. It cost the car $10 to get in for the day so super cheap. If you want to do the two water slides and splash pad that cost $7 a person. Adults have to pay as well. But it is still pretty cheap if you consider how much it cost to go to a water park for the day. We have not seen everything here, they have horseback riding and a farm petting area. There is a nature center and some trails you can walk on. The birds are very friendly. There are two beaches that have not seemed crowded when we have gone yet. I'm sure they're more busy over the weekend . The playgrounds are just phenomenal. There is a lot of newer and unique looking equipment. We have a 2-hour drive to get here so our plan is we first go to the trails and nature center. Then we eat our picnic by the water. Then we go to the beach and water activities. We enjoyed coming here so much that we will be planning on attending multiple times every summer. We love this place so much!

Science museum

The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is a vibrant, 4-story location that offers over 250 science-focused exhibits for children to play and learn. It is an ideal destination for kids of all ages and their parents. While some visitors have noted that it can get quite crowded during peak times (especially in light of current COVID-19 concerns), the museum features a wide range of engaging activities suitable for kids with various interests and heights.

Great place for kids of all ages (and their parents). We went over holiday break so it got a little too busy for our comfort (in the time of covid) but right around opening it was nice. Many activities for kids of all heights and interests. Our kids were sad to leave! Appreciated that everyone was wearing masks, but some parents could try to remind their kids to distance (especially for our under 5 crew). Also, I’d suggest the museum add many more sanitizing stations. There definitely were not enough for how much touching is happening. Thanks for the great time!

Rebecca H — Google review

A great place for kids of all ages. They have a special smaller kid area. Several areas change to keep it fun. The ambulance and water table are always a hit. Parking can be hard, parallel parking your best bet. The have a place for snacks . I love the old general store to play in. They offer discounts and have a store to buy stuff. The have elevators for strollers and wheelchair. Field trips can make it very busy . Along with with weekends.

Unscriptedmomlife — Google review

Wonderful and exciting place! Super fun!Parking on the weekend was challenging. They didn't have any information about parking on their site. Eventually we found a pay lot off Ann St between N Main and Ashley that's a few blocks away.

Great experience for all ages. There is limited parking, though there are plenty of parking options nearby.there are picnic tables inside. Cubbies, wheelchair accessible in all levels. Highly recommended

This is a cool museum! My 9 and 11 year old kids really liked it. There were tons of things to do. It is harder to find parking and I believe it is all paid parking. The reason I rated it 4/5 stars is that it is dirty. It is really dusty and you can tell surfaces are not wiped down. Especially high touch surfaces- it’s a little gross. I’m sure during the pandemic it was better but cleanliness is definitely lacking at this point. Kids and adults are $16 to enter. Visited on the Saturday after thanksgiving and I thought it would be crazy but it really wasn’t too crowded.

Anna S — Google review

I'm rating 4 star and not 5 because they have gone down hill. My last visit maybe 2 years ago was excellent! Everything was clean and working. This visit, not so much. Bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been. Some of the exhibits had obvious dust on them, which shows up in pictures unfortunately. Some of the exhibits didn't even work! Great museum in general, but they definitely need to do some cleaning and maintenance

Cam T — Google review

We just moved to the area and wanted to check out the hands on museum for our two kids. We went pretty early in the morning on a Saturday, they opened at 10 and we arrived around 10:20. We did have to pay for parking about three blocks away due to no available parking on the street but not a big issue. The museum was a great time for the kids. They super enjoyed the water area and the physics area. I would say the upper two floors are pretty hidden and not advertised as much and were pretty inactive for visitors other than us. We spent about three hours in the attraction and did purchase some items from the gift shop. I thought the gift shop prices were very reasonable. The price of membership was a little high but we had a discount so it was very reasonable. We definitely would go back!

Tara C — Google review

We had a great time as a family. This was our 3rd or 4th visit. Parked on the street. They have lockers and of course, snacks are welcome. They have a little lunch area and a chip vending machine that I saw. Great time for a full day or to add on with a day of doctor appointments at u of m. I also learned the pass is good all day with allowing reentry. So perfect for Dr. Appointment days. Enjoy 😊

Ashley N — Google review

We visited on a Tuesday at 11am and upon walking in, we were a little put off at how busy it was. There were so many field trips and any time my son would get a chance to play with something other kids would come and try to take over. It was very off putting. We decided to leave and get lunch and came back around 1. By this time the majority of the field trips kid had left and the place died down drastically. We actually got to enjoy the exhibits and learn while we played.I would recommend waiting until 1 on weekdays if you have younger kids. They have an eating area with limited vending, no real food.Overall it was a nice museum with friendly staff.

Jodi M — Google review

We just brought our 15 month old who is new to walking, he LOVED the preschool play place on the second floor! We are excited to continue taking him as he gets bigger! In my opinion the gift shop has really cool educational toys at fairly reasonable costs, so I'll be utilizing that for birthday and holiday gifts.

I have been many times when managing camps in the past and I can say that the activity experience and guest experience has gotten even better! My daughter and I had a blast, and staff did a great job of reminding larger groups to guide their kids along politely.

Alex M — Google review

If you have little ones and need a cool place, full of amazing learning experiences, this is it! They have so many learning opportunities and it’s so accessible for families with special needs children and even grown ups can have fun, I also love that they are partnered with other museums in the nation so if you have a membership, you can get discounted access to other hands on museums around the country. My kids absolutely loved it here!

Allie S — Google review

Very cool and well thought out place to take kids. There was a birthday party going on when we were there, so it seemed really busy. But cool thing, they have sister location like the Wonder labs in IN.

Megan D — Google review

Great place for kids and adults a like! Very easy to find, the building itself is unique, lots of parking available with busy foot traffic. A very child friendly environment with staff that's just as friendly and informative!

Sean Q — Google review

We have the family plus membership and we're using it a lot! It's nice to be able to bring guests with us. My kids, 4 and 1, both love the museum. Our top 3 favorites are the H2O, pre school area, and the ambulance. We avoided coming during special events such as winter break activities due to overcrowded visitors. We always try to come at 10, right when it opens, or later at 3pm, so it's quieter. That way the kids can explore more freely, and minimum to none waiting time.

Dewi S — Google review

My three year old son had a great time! I really feel like this is the perfect place for kids aged 3-7. They had so much to do that we could have spent all day in there! Thankfully, with my sons quick attention spand, we were in there for about 3 hours. It was well worth the drive and price!

Ruthanne H — Google review

Great place fir kids to explore and discover. They ha e an area that is 4yrs and under. Pretty strict about keeping older kids out of there as to not ruin it for them. No real place to park, that can be a little hard as it's all located in a big college town...

Izzy T — Google review

Our daughter, who is about to turn four, loves it here! She likes the water room, the machine that lets you see your bones, muscles and nerves in motion, and the bubble cage. Highly recommend for young kids!

Emily P — Google review

My kids love this place but parking is well there is NO parking, that's the terrible part. Only two spaces near the front entrance and it's always filled up so you gotta go to a parking structure that's a 5 minute walk! They don't serve food just a vending machine and with 2 adults 2 kids is $64.00, so it's expensive.

April M — Google review

In the heart of an already lively city, this fun, educating museum is so great. Multiple floors of so many great inventions, technology , history and so much more. Hands on stimulating exhibits that are not only teaching the kids, and the adults too lol but making it fun in the process. Its kind of tucked away there on ann street, and parking can sometimes be annoying but its all worthwhile for the kiddos. Put the phones and the tablets down and get a membership their going to want to come back for sure!

Stadium

Sights & Landmarks

The Big House, the historic 110,000-seat football stadium at the University of Michigan, hosted a free Spring scrimmage event that was enjoyable and recommendable. The game was entertaining, and some penalties and calls by referees made it even more amusing. Children were allowed to meet players, get autographs and step onto the field. The stadium is an impressive piece of real estate with a rich history that can be appreciated even by non-Michigan fans. Highly recommended for all visitors!

GO BLUE! The Big House is a sight to behold, seating over 100,000 people every game. I went here for the Ohio St game last November, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The atmosphere is amazing and visibility is great at almost every seat.Ann Arborites are also very nice! Anyone who wants the best college football experience has to come to Michigan.

Antonio O — Google review

Michigan Stadium, located in Ann Arbor, is an iconic venue and the largest stadium in the U.S. Being here for a marching band rehearsal offers a unique experience. The sheer size and atmosphere are awe-inspiring, even when empty. The acoustics in the stadium are impressive, allowing music to echo beautifully across the stands. It’s easy to feel the history and excitement of game days as you perform. The field is well-maintained, and the stadium staff are helpful. Parking can be a bit of a challenge depending on the event. The views from all angles are fantastic. Overall, it’s a thrilling place for a rehearsal!

Harry — Google review

This is my first time being in the big house and I have to say the people who work the lines they're the people who work in the stores they're all in a great mood everyone was in a super nice welcoming mood and I was stupid excited. Of course it was the opening day so what's not to be excited about that but just nice to be in a place where there's so many workers that were nice.

Dr. K — Google review

Michigan Stadium is an awesome venue—there’s hardly a bad seat in the house! The atmosphere both inside and outside the stadium was electric. My only gripe is that they could use a few more bathroom options, but the vendors were solid and fast, which was a nice plus. Getting in and out was quick and easy, making the whole experience smooth. Would definitely love to come back!

Sean Y — Google review

We only got to see the outside of The Big House, but WOW! You can still hear the sniveling and crying from the fans of that team down south 🤣💛💙〽️ Hoping someday soon we'll be here for a game or THE GAME! GO BLUE!! x-h-i-x still sucks 🤣💛💙💛💙〽️

Michelle B — Google review

Came away disappointed as a visiting team fan for the first time at the big house.Pros:Beautiful city, stadium, as well as nice people.Large and clear jumborons.Excellent music played during TV timeouts.Cons:The lines! I was constantly waiting in line for everything. I have been to over 30 different stadiums between pro football, college football, concerts, and baseball. This was hands down the most poorly designed stadium layout for flow and egress I have ever been to.By far my biggest gripe is the stadium layout causes extremely long lines. I missed 5 minutes of game time trying to walk up the stairs from row B to use the bathroom. I have never waited in such long lines before and my home stadium holds 101k+, so very similar with a large crowd vibe and large stadium capacity.A more efficient stadium would have a lot more tunnels for better flow. Getting into section 15 took over 10 mines. I've never waited in a line after security to enter a seating section before. Ushers wouldn't allow me to enter the tunnel to section 14, saying they needed to keep the walkways clear. I said 15 is far from clear and they still refused. So I got in another line. The bathrooms were disgusting- the womans was half flooded per my wife, and the men's was almost the same with lots of water on the ground. They ran out of paper towels around halftime. Again, long lines and the men's room I used only had 8 urinals. I have season tickets to an FCS school with a stadium that only holds 22k and each men's room has over 20 urinals. Again, poor flow and long lines were the theme of the day.Another thing I noticed and was disappointed with was the fact the concessions are far away from the field and you end up missing the game. No tvs setup outside to continue to watch the game as you wait in another line. Most stadiums have the concessions near the seats and have monitors to stay informed of the game. Not here. I'm used to being 44 seconds to 2 minutes max from my seat at any given time. Again, not here.Drink selection was poor. I went to buy a beer (shortest line of the day, shockingly) and a water. This was before halftime and the selection was very limited. Modelo, Founders all day IPA, Coors, and a Finland type of Seltzer. Highnoons were sold out, as was the water! I have never been to a stadium with such limited beer selection in one line. Want something else, get into another line. Lines for days at this place. I wish each concessions spot offered more options as I would have purchased more. I was really surprised to not see a bigger drink selection as each spot considering the size of the crowd. Most stadiums I got to have 9-14ish options, and you can get a mix of beers, cocki, wine, and sodas all in one transaction. The concessions must be a real mess when it's poor weather, since it's all outside. Even my FCS school has almost 20 different drink options. My last gripe is subjective, but I expected the crowd to be a lot louder. The biggest stadium in the country and I was expecting it to be another 8-12 dB louder. Perhaps the stadium design (out vs up) allows some of the noise to escape, but I have been to way louder venues with 10-40k less people.Lastly, was surprised to learn that 2nd row (row B) seats did not have seat backs and is rather bleachers.Would I go back? Yes.Would I give more consideration to where I sit due to the poor traffic flow. Yes.Are there opportunities for improvement? 100% Absolutely.

Derek M — Google review

Holy Moly, this stadium is large. My bucket list was fulfilled by purchasing, flying to Michigan, and watching the Wolverines host the Buckeyes and seeing who remains undefeated between two unbeaten and powerhouse teams. I have to say, I was overwhelmed with the crowd capacity, the energetic vibe despite very cold temperatures, and the overall collegiate Big Ten Football experience. I don’t know which is better, a very hyped college game or a dynamic NFL match-up game. I highly encourage true collegiate football fanatics to come experience the vibe here at the Big House when your team comes to play here, it’s unlike any other college stadium and football atmosphere.

Humphrey V — Google review

I love this place! Beautiful to see the games sell out and looking around seeing over 100,000+ people? It’s really cool! I do wish there could be some form of cushion for the seats, but that’s really it. The food tastes and is fresh for every game. Really I have nothing bad to say even walking to the stadium it’s really cool seeing the other wolverines walking and basically taking over the road lol.

Hello T — Google review

We had an amazing time!!!! This is the best stadium 🏟 in North America, and it shows. I wish everyone could get a shot at coming here. GO BLUE!!!

Anthony C — Google review

My step daughter graduated from University of Michigan this year. The ceremony was in the big house. It held the 70,000 people fine... but that's because they ripped out the seats with backs and armrests and installed all low skinny benches numbered about every foot. Also we sat close to the field so we had a long hike up stairs with really tall risers to leave. I would also plan showing up an hour early to make time for the lines getting in. All in all, it was well worth the trip and I'd go again. Thanks for reading!

It was great to see the stadium and watch the Michigan/ Michigan State Game. We had seats at the end zone. I was unaware of the 50 step descent and climb up to the main stadium. I have a bad knee and had I know I would have gotten tickets nearer the top of steps around row 50. Check your tickets and view if you haven't been there before.

First time in The Big House! Texas game. Brutal performance from the Wolverines, but what an atmosphere! Every college football fan needs to experience this place at least once.

Nothing like being in the Big House with 100,000 friends! Great stadium. Awesome vendors and concessions as well.Go Blue!

Virginia G — Google review

This place is awesome. Definitely would be better if they sold alcohol but i understand. O e of the greatest college football stadiums in the country. The fans around me were all good, not too crazy. Concession stands were pretty good lines weren't too long. Parking is pretty high. Paid $70, but i guess it is what it is.

Sights & Landmarks

The University of Michigan is a large public school renowned for its research, medical programs, and football team. Located in downtown Ann Arbor, the campus boasts impressive academic buildings and offers a plethora of extracurricular activities. Despite its size, students have the opportunity to stand out if they make an effort to do so. The university provides countless opportunities for professional success but may pose challenges in finding time to study due to the abundance of activities available.

My daughter graduated from Michigan as a triple major and then got her Masters in Management from Ross. She also played in the famous Michigan Marching Band. When she graduated she was offered jobs on Wall Street, as a book editor, as an advertising executive and at Google. There are not many universities in the world that could have offered her the excellent and varied education she got from Michigan. On top of that the Saturdays in the largest stadium in the country listening to the greatest fight song ever written is a thrill no other university can offer. Go Blue!

A world renowned university and medical system on a beautiful campus that is always clean and well maintained. The campus both the university and medical campus are situated in areas where petty crime can be an issue so always be vigilant but the university has extensive campus security and campus police on patrol. It's such a great campus and a great place to work or learn.

Leslie E — Google review

The University of Michigan boasts one of the most stunning campuses in the world, offering not only breathtaking surroundings but also a vibrant, supportive community. I couldn't have asked for a better place to call home—both academically and personally. The student vibes and sense of camaraderie made the experience truly unforgettable.

It was my first time going to the big house and it was an absolute blast! Tailgating with my friend was fun and the game was amazing as well! If you're a huge michigan fan and have never been to the big house to see a game, I highly recommend it!

The roads surrounding central campus, and some buildings are in pieces. The bus routes connecting central and north campus change constantly with no notice. I'm glad the University is making hotels and designing things for 2050, but in the meantime there are other things that need to be fixed, or should have been fixed a long time ago.

Update: the professor I had been in touch with, professor Lohmann, seems to be as unprofessional as the rest of the faculty I had the misfortune of dealing with. We had a fine zoom meeting where we discussed the program I was interested in and he’s the one that had me reach out to someone of Jennifer Alexander’s job title for further assistance as well. Lohmann was supposed to get back to me the following week and I have not heard back since. Take your money, yearning for education, and search for good mentorship somewhere else. You will not find anything of value at this institution.Awful staff, such as Rose Cory and Jennifer Alexander. I’ve tried to go about seeking help with admissions and the only help I’ve received is from an actual professor. Rose Cory works in admissions and completely blew off our zoom meeting, later contacting saying another meeting went late but couldn’t even have the courtesy to send me a message prior to our meeting letting me know she wouldn’t be there. Jennifer Alexander is just pathetic and doesn’t do the job she’s listed to do on the schools website. I doubt I will continue to give this institution any more thought for enrollment. Absolute trash faculty.

Great university campus, happy students, friendly and ethnically-diverse atmosphere every time I've visited. Weighted against about ten comparable universities I've spent time around, this is in the top 3. Ann Arbor is a really nice place. :)

Matty S — Google review

The university seems to lack integrity. Having coaches cuss at students and sweeping it under the rug is unacceptable. It seems the football program has ruined the image of a once great university.

I had a dentist graduate from the University of Michigan who destroyed my teeth, oral health, eye, and maxilla. I don't recommend this university based on a graduate student from this university.

The campus us beautiful. Friendly staff and students. Lots of fun attending a football game. Parking wasn't a nightmare like we assumed, police had streets marked clearly and was directing traffic. The venu was perfect.

BEAUTIFUL campus. I love every second here! So many amazing activities and extra curricular activities to get involved in over 2000! The professors are fantastic here too you can EASILY tell everyone has well over 10+ years of upper level experience. The students here… INSANELY nice as an introvert I can walk up to anyone and they’re super friendly and helpful. Biggest alumni group. HUGE school spirit even on the streets people all rep UofM. It’s a whole new loving world here. Night life is everywhere with good to high end restaurants. The roads are all proper especially for Michigan weather. Alumni donates heavily to this school. The city works with UofM to help them expand.. it’s like the whole area is family it’s incredible!I legitimately can’t say a single negative and I am a commuter except I just wish I could drive less haha. So many parking structures lol it’s only a few minute walk. The M bus is accurate too.Put it like this… if you get accepted to The University of Michigan.. after doing research and or visiting campus you will be going to The University of Michigan.10/10 this is coming from someone who’s attended multiple universities including the Dearborn campus. NOTHING touches this University.

My experience as a student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor has been nothing short of amazing! The campus is not only stunning but also buzzing with energy. The professors are world-class, and the wide range of academic programs ensures there's something for everyone. The resources available, from the libraries to research opportunities, are unparalleled. What truly stands out, though, is the sense of community and school spirit. Whether it's cheering for the Wolverines at the Big House or collaborating with fellow students on projects, being part of UMich is an unforgettable journey. I'm proud to call myself a Michigan student, and it's a definite five-star institution!

Currently I'm working on central campus, but overall it's a good school with a lot with in walking distance

Public school? Hardly. You don't get kicked out of public schools for not paying. No, it's a publicly funded PRIVATE school. What's a word related to "private" kids? That's right. It's PRIVILEGE.

Did a clinical trial for them, well tried to. The problem was after one week, had some issues getting paid. Then the second week, did not get paid at all. Because there payment procedure stinks. And they cannot correct it. So my advice is avoid this university. As much money that is poured into that college. They cannot figure out how to pay people. Really pathetic. Update: I have heard from a lot of people, that they got ripped off from these people. Please avoid them. 3/28/2024.

Cabela's is a wonderland our outdoorsy fun/games/sportsmanship.Are you hunter? Gatherer? Fisher? Archer? Kayaker? Backpaker? Anything Elserer? Chances are they're going to have what you're looking for, and more than likely in stock. There are other outdoor lifestyle chains out there, but none that measure up to the outdoor/wilderness environment that Cabela's has. From its rustic, natural(ish) décor to the outdoor displays to wildlife exhibits, you really do get that "I feel like I'm out in the woods" vibe. While I've always been a fan of Cabela's, this summer we found that they carry my absolute favorite line of bird seed. I'm a birder and feed 6 to 8 different types of feed in my back year nearly year round, and the fact that they have my favorite brand (Harvest brand bird feeds), but A) in multiple varieties and 2) IN STOCK immediately made this my go-to place when I need bird seed. We used to have to visit 3 or more retail outlets to find what I needed, but not any more. This has got to be one of the largest Cabela's in existence. Seriously. I've been to a number of them but this one just seems ENORMOUS. It's also got an absolutely beautiful 'front door' that can be seen from the expressway nearby. As I wandered around trying to find my bird seed (it literally took me over 10 minutes) I passed a number of staff members helping others and stocking shelves.OH...and an aquarium. There's a freakin' AQUARIUM in this Cabela's. As if the animals and all the outdoor displays aren't enough, they add an aquarium.

Jim F — Google review

It's nice that Cabela's has parking specifically for the big rigs! Makes it easy to stop and shop while I'm on the road. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Can't beat the displays.

Ken T — Google review

Went here to check out the fire arms section, among other things. This is definitely a destination type place. You're going there to have more than just shopping. This place is an experience, not just shopping. There is so much to see and the staff is very friendly. I'm so happy I went here. Me and my wife had such a great time. I recommend bringing the family along. The fish tank alone is a sight to see!

Bluez T — Google review

Love Cabela's. Definitely a tradition in my household to pack up the kids and go look at all the taxidermy along with the live fish.

Mary S — Google review

Very nice outdoor sporting goods store. There are so many things to see and look at. Some reasonable sales/clearance (check out the discount area). The staff were friendly and helpful. Great experience for the family and kids! Worth a stop, even if you don't need to buy anything.

Timothy I — Google review

First time here in about 9 years sadly they have taken out the restaurant and hunting/shooting games, they dont even have the candied almonds! That smell was always uniquely "cabelas" when you walked thru the door but no more I guess. My kids loved seeing the fish and wildlife but the mounts do seem a bit faded and old, as another reviewer noted, like they need new ones or current ones to be spiffed up.There is so much to shop for it's a bit overwhelming but that makes it a unique experience. Over all a fun stop especially for the kids when they get to climb in some of the boats and on some of the quads and UTVs. If your looking for anything outdoor this is the place to go!

J. H — Google review

This is always a great place for us to stop on our road trips. They allow dogs in the store, which we love! We love to stop here, and shop for a few things, while exploring all of the cool things this store has to offer. The employees are always so welcoming every time we come here! My dogs are always amazed at all the animals they get to see! And the fish! Don't miss out on the fish!

Jessica H — Google review

My european brain cannot comprehend the sheer size of this store. It has everything you could need for any sort of outdoor activities, I'm pretty sure. The animal displays and aquariums were the coolest.

Sophie S — Google review

Huge selection for anything outdoors!Camping, fishing, hunting, home decor, shoes & clothing.Beautiful aquarium too!

Kim M — Google review

unfortunately, they seem to never have sale items in stock. Their loss leaders. Two cashiers open with 30 people waiting and one of them being a trainee. Then they open another line and take people from the back to the new line. They could do much much better.

Jerry N — Google review

This is truly a gem of South East Michigan. The store is clean and almost over staffed. Help is so easy to find and you're treated as a person not a sale. Each department is staffed by knowledgeable employees. And for low budget folk like myself it's a pleasure to bring my child and experience all the visuals without the pressure to always spend money. I can't speak highly enough of this facility.

David H — Google review

The very best and largest store for hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities. The selection of merchandise is incredible and the prices are reasonable. And check out the bargain cave for great discounts.

Stu V — Google review

Great chain of stores for outdoors items, from boats to woods, fishing to hiking. Pricing reflects quality name brand items.

Howard P — Google review

Been there and done that. Thing are exorbitantly expensive. Found a flannel shirt on the clearance rack. It was originally $99.95 marked down to $78. I didn't see any Kevlar inserts in it. It definitely didn't look any different than a $30 shirt. There are a few hidden gems (price wise) in the store, but few and far in-between. The staff was very good. Nice genuine people. If it's your first time you will be amazed at the set ups inside the store. The store is more like an attraction and probably explains the mark ups. It must cost a lot of overhead to maintain.

Great place for a visit. Has plenty of parking for cars, semi trucks and RVs. Trucks and RVs have their own section to park.Huge gun selection. Probably the biggest I have ever seen in any Cabala’s. Not much for RV accessories or supplies.

Took our grandson there for the 1st time and what a HIT!! Beyond them having EVERYTHING you would ever need for any and all of your outdoor activities...it's a fantastic place for sharing family memories. So much more then just a store with all the supplies you will ever need. Can see MANY future trips to this fantastic place!

Splash Universe Resort

Hotel

Water & Amusement Parks

Party planner

Restaurant

Unpretentious rooms inside a lively water park offering a restaurant/bar, a pool & a gym.

Went here for the first time since 2018. Some things still were under construction on like the restaurant and arcade, but we were pleased to see the waterpark open. The staff was very helpful and friendly, overall it was a good experience.

JMG S — Google review

Family came expecting to have a nice fun day to celebrate my niece birthday at the water park only to be told it is not open. When booking the room this was not mentioned. We didn’t drive an hour away to only get to enjoy the hotel pool 😡. After seeing other reviews it seems they would have done something to inform people when booking the water park section is temporarily closed, but no they let people book anyway. I swear I understand they need to keep making money but this is just misleading and poor management on their part. I hope they update the website asap. Otherwise, they will continue to get poor reviews. At first glance the room seemed fine. But unfortunately after taking a better look I found it to be not as clean as one would expect, the remote control was sticky, there was dust all around, the ice bucket was covered in it, the refrigerator and microwave were both dirty on the outside. I want to know who thought this room met quality standards.

Denise H — Google review

We had a great time, however it was really pricy for what is included. Over 300 a night with not even coffee offered is just too pricey. The rooms were clean however our fridge was insanely loud. The Front desk is never there and they never answer phones he phones. The water was a lot of fun, however only 1 life guard most of the time for such a big area and no water slide supervision. Life guards just sat a takes did not actually pay attention. Also for part of them time the kids area did not work. The hotel seriously lacked amenities. On a positive note there were 2 employees that we dealt with that were extremely nice and helpful. I would be surprised if we came back.

P G — Google review

Sorry to say, although we did have a nice time, we won't be returning. First, too pricey for what they offer. Prices went up AFTER we booked and we were still charged the higher price. The water play area was MISERABLY hot, the swimming pool area was dark... no lights at all... but great temperature. We asked for coffee for the room (which had a coffee pot in it) and was told that they have no coffee!!! The snack shack and arcade was RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. The room was very comfortable though. Oh... and we saw a total of 3 other people our entire stay, so my granddaughter had to play alone.

Lisa L — Google review

We went to Splash Universe the weekend of April 6-7, 2024! I loved learning about the history of the hotel and waterpark on our stay, but basically the water park resort is under new management because the old owners just walked out during the COVID pandemic and left the place to rot! The new owners and staff that were there when we stayed were very respectful and helpful! Very friendly! To stay there for a night for 5 was $495! It’s a little bit pricey since the Waterpark was the only attraction open and the arcade and restaurant are still under construction! The person I talked to at the front desk said they are hoping to have the arcade and restaurant open May 1st! The hotel was very nice; there were vending machines, and atms around the hotel and then there was also a pool and an exercise room; the waterpark has a lazy river, slides, toddler area, and a hot tub (adult supervision is required for people under 18)! We got a nice room that had a pull out couch, recliner, table and chairs, bunk beds, bed, 2 cable tvs, microwave, and refrigerator! The hotel does have internet but there was no breakfast during our stay! We also needed a crib for an 8th month old and the front desk were nice to give us one! I did end up slipping and falling in the waterpark area and hurting my knee and toe but I’m fine now! Overall, we had a nice time, even though it was a bit pricy we still enjoyed our stay! I do agree they should give a discount or something though since everything was not all open during our stay!

Brandon R — Google review

Positive: My 10 year old loved the water park. The staff in the waterpark itself was very helpful, friendly and attentive.Negative: The hotel itself seemed understaffed, and if I had to guess, family owned and operated, which is to say not hospitality industry-skilled. Not all features were open, like the bar/restaurant, and frankly the arcade should not be open.Details: Our room was dirty. I had to wipe sticky drink rings off the surfaces in our room, it had obviously not been vacuumed, and my son stepped on a large staple that punctured his foot. The halls and stairwells had very clearly not been vacuumed for some time. The arcade should not be open. Many games were labeled as not working, and many other games took our money but did not work. Some of the working games were empty of prizes.Multiple instances of male family members chewing food while servicing me or other guests, or male family member/manager yelling to female employee/family member for attention while she was servicing a customer, who then paused the customer interaction. Kind of embarrassing for both sides...I get it, all businesses are struggling to hire employees right now and that affects service, but I wouldn't spend the money here again unless things get fixed/improved.

Damon D — Google review

I wouldn’t even give this place a star if I could. I booked a reservation for my daughters birthday paid over 400$ for a two night stay get there and had to pay an extra 300$ for the water park because my reservation didn’t include the water park arcade wasn’t open, no continental breakfast, rude staff, disorganized like no other, awful communication. The incompetence of this place is astonishing. My advice save your money and go to kalahari way better establishment.

Ariel K — Google review

I just recently visited this hotel during the holiday I had to get an offer off of Groupon The office said, water, park passes, pool and room inc. We drove three hours away to hear that it’s not included in the offer false advertisement I really feel like they should refund people the full amount for doing false advertisement on the Internet then when you get there a day off for this pool, that’s dirty And the pool had so much chlorine that I made my son eyes I swollen. And my daughter couldn’t see for a whole day. I really feel like they put the chlorine in her once they realize that we were coming to have a good time regardless of the outcome and also to get somebody to buy tickets for the water pass.

Martino L — Google review

Tried to go there today for my son's birthday wasn't getting a room just was going to the water park so their prices has changed just for a water park pass 60.00 a person there was five of us so that was $300 just to go swimming they're out of their mind and the lady at the front desk said we just opened back up so you're going to rip everybody off in all there is is a small lazy river two slides a kiddie pool a splash park and that's it if there was more I would see paying the $60 a person but there's not I do not recommend this place unless you want to be ripped off

Katie S — Google review

Just don’t waste your time/money here. It’s outrageously priced for the poor experience you’ll have. The rooms are filthy, sheets are stained with god only knows what. The AC units don’t work, no signal, the tv remote doesn’t even work. The pool room is uncomfortably hot, hard to even breathe in there..both my babies broke out with a rash after playing in the water. The chemical levels need to be checked. This is definitely not a place to go if you’re looking for anything above ok.

Lisa D — Google review

BE CAREFUL THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU!!! I WAS QUOTED ONE PRICE WHEN I BOOKED ONLINE BUT WAS CHARGED SUBSTANTIALLY MORE UPON CHECKING OUT!!Yes, I changed the date. HOWEVER, I was never informed of a rate change. I called THREE TIMES to confirm EVERYTHING WAS THE SAME!I called "corporate office" to get the problem fixed and was met with just flat out rudeness from everyone I spoke to. You guys need to take a customer service course or something. Smh!

S G — Google review

My child left their most loved stuffed toy at this hotel. I called a couple of days later and they found it in our room. I was so relieved. I offered to drive back to get it, but they said they would mail it to us that week. Ever since then, I cannot get a straight answer for where it is and it has now been over a month. I call every couple of days to check on the status of my last phone call, and no one ever gives me a straight answer. Based on what I'm hearing, a manager took it with them in their car to mail it, but no one knows if it ever got mailed and that employee now no longer works there. All I ever hear is that they will "look into it" and call me back. No one calls me back. I've asked them to try contacting the former employee to see if it got mailed, or if he can drop it back at the hotel so I can come and pick it up. No one ever commits to an answer and reaches back out. My child is inconsolable. They've had this toy since they were a baby. If the employee had left it at the hotel, I would have picked it up already.

Kelli C — Google review

Way to much for what you get.when we checked in our first room smelled like something had died in it. Then they put us in the room right next to it. Our door had a trash can next to it cause there was an active water leak in the ceiling. The ac unit was very loud. Most everything was overpriced. The arcade room would have been fun but most of the games didn't work but would take your credits.

Melvin V — Google review

Had high hopes for this indoor water park… but an overwhelming chlorine smell caused coughing and we had to leave. The owner/manager provided a full refund though. The actual water park was very cool, with all kinds of small and large water slides, one of those giant buckets that dump all the water when full, a short but fun lazy river and rafts complete with a waterfall, and a small waddle pool for toddlers. There are tables all around in two floors, restaurant service, and a large arcade room. The staff, managers and life guards are extremely friendly and kind. I think this shows that the new owners probably treat their employees well, and everyone cares about their customers.Almost everything was kept clean except the bathrooms and changing rooms, which were a mess. There were towels all over the floor, broken soap dispensers, and some showers didn’t even work. And although they are wheelchair accessible, there is no unisex restroom ir changing area, which would be an issue if you have young kids of the opposite gender or if you need a nurse or caregiver. If you are staying at the hotel, then it’s not a big issue. So I have mixed feelings about this place. Is it worth the sixty-something entrance fee? At the moment, no, until the new owners get their act together and hire more workers. Aside from the unfortunate chlorine incident, is it a fun place for kids? You bet! If we could breathe better in there, we could have stayed all day.I really wish I could say I loved it. If they fix the chemical smell issues, which I think plagued the previous owners, I would give it another shot.

I didn't stay at this place but I've been waiting for so long for it to open up. I was so happy to hear it opened up so I called and the woman that answers the phone is soooo rude how can anyone book here after dealing with that. Call great wolf lodge and listen to the difference. This place will never win unless they change their workers.✌️

this place was horrible… i don’t even know where to start we get there and get settled it and one of the rooms had SO many bugs on the bed on the floor in the bathroom they switched the rooms which the other room had bugs as well it was disgusting. they said there’s nothing they can do about it and are experiencing this in many of the rooms which to me is crazy. they have no housekeepers they said when talking to us because they left over being upset about something probably how many bugs there were 😂 then the pool made every.single.one of my kids throw up i had 7 kids with me every single one kept throwing up because there’s so much chlorine we were up and down all night due to how many times they were throwing up… overall the place is a disaster and it’s disgusting 🤢 never coming here again not worth you’re stay no refund or anything just “nothing they can do” nothing you can do?😂😂 shut the damn place down

They have recently reopened and are getting up to speed. Everyone was friendly, a lot of remodeling has been done, and many room type choices depending on family size and budget. We had two of the adventure suites, they came with a king sized bed plus a bunk bed which worked well for us. Once they are 100% open, I think access to rooms in building 2 will become easier, especially since most people coming will have kids and will need clear access. We plan on returning soon!

I'm sure not many of you are planning on going to Splash Universe Dundee during the week, but so that you're aware.. My son and I went today. I was expecting to pay the web site's advertised weekday ticket price of $40 per ticket. Upon arrival I was told as of yesterday the price was increased by $50 per person, and they have yet to update the web site. I didn't argue and paid the price. Never again will I pay such a ludicrous price for such a small water park. I can't imagine having to pay the $80 weekend price. This was my first and last experience with this water park.

Where do I start? If you live more than 10mins away don’t waste your time coming here. ON ARRIVAL it looked closed down. I seen one other family. Rude staff, Dirty rooms. Restaurants friendly, food was good(Applebees/BobEvan).******False Advertisement******We came here for Father’s Day, check in was after 4pm, but the water park closed at 6pm. Long story short my husband and 2children weren’t able to use the water park on arrival. We were told we can use it the next day at 10am when they reopened but the water park was only accessible until 12pm(we were still charged full price). Check out was at 11am we asked how much was late check out and was told $100. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and combative and said her manager will be in tomorrow when asked. We booked and paid for a double bed when we got to our room it was one bed an a pull out couch. When I asked her why was we given this room she stated because it was only two of us and we didn’t tell her we had children, but we did and also disclosed that when we booked online. After changing to a different room we thought “ok let’s make the best out of this situation”. After further inspection we noticed how dirty the room was. Dirty refrigerator and stand. Half empty shampoo bottles, an opened bar of soap, no soap in shower dispenser, there was an old dirty sock on the side of bed along with cupcakes and crumbs. Not to mention the blood and dirt on the bed sheets. My daughter(2) and Nephew(9) was so excited about seeing the water park and arcade(which NEVER OPENED), and after an hour long drive with two children and a 5month old we stayed like some fools because we didn’t wanna be charged for the 1st night if we cancelled($300 for one night). Don’t get me started on the bathrooms/changing rooms they are nasty. Upon leaving, I seen housekeeping and asked for some body essentials and of course she didn’t have any thing but conditioner, her response was I just started working here.***Coming here was a waste of money and worst mistake ever my son(nephew) complained about his eyes burning after leaving out of the water park. Once we returned home he was still complaining of eye pain, so he was taking to emergency. HE IS NOW SUFFERING with SERVER CONJUNCTIVITIS and is on medication for the next few weeks. The doctor said it’s from the chlorine/chemicals in the water.Seems like it could be a very nice place to visit and to the naked eye it is but it’s needs a lot of work and better staff. The water park is cool I won’t take that away and the check out lady was super nice. Overall we won’t be visiting again EVER it was over priced and we weren’t able to use all of the amenities as advertised online when booking this trip. PLEASE update your ADVERTISEMENT IMMEDIATELY!!!****False Advertisement****

Snug space full of coin operated fun from modern arcade games to retro fortunetellers.

This is a gem of a place and one of the last of its kind. It's disappointing to hear the city is kicking them out of a home they've had for 40 years. It's wall to wall packed with arcade games of old and new. A quarter will get you a cute puppet show from the 1930s, a few will get you a nostalgic cartoon game or play something brand new. It has everything for everyone. Cool decor plaster the walls. You'll find something new every visit. Snack bar and prize station. 20 bucks will give you a few hours of game fun

Cristina M — Google review

Eclectic, fascinating, pocket book friendly, and fun for EVERYONE! We spent 4 hours taking it all in. It's an antique enthusiast dream, so much to see! Great mix of retro/modern games and a snack bar! Even the prize station was good! We can't wait to come back!!

K. F — Google review

This was the most unique antique arcade place I've ever been to!! It was so cool from the games to the artwork on the walls to the things hanging from the ceiling. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by!!

Cordie B — Google review

This place is amazing! There are so many cool things to do. Pinball, arcade, carnival games, coin-operated machines and even some from the early 1900s! We did not eat there but they do have a little dining area. Our group was aged 7-75 and everyone had a great time.

Brooke K — Google review

Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is a delightful step back in time, offering a quirky and nostalgic experience that's both cost-friendly and enchanting. Unlike typical modern-day arcades, Marvin's transports visitors to a bygone era with its collection of vintage machines. From classic pinball to retro arcade games, there's something for everyone to enjoy, making it a friendly destination for all ages. The staff's helpfulness adds to the charm, ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and well-assisted throughout their adventure. Whether you're reliving childhood memories or discovering these mechanical wonders for the first time, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum promises an unforgettable and fascinating journey.

Mrs. S — Google review

Great arcade with the twist of also being a museum. All the machines are coin operated with physical tickets, excellent for nostalgia. The luck struck us a few times with jackpots and bonuses, but also with malfunctioning machines. Employees were quick to fix the ones they could and make it right. Tons of machines, and a bit cramped. Glad I didn’t need any of my mobility aids or else it may have been tricky to move around. Wish the redemption center had a better exchange rate or a few more adult aimed items. We still had fun though and can’t wait to come back when it’s in the new location.

Sarah T — Google review

Get ready for an adventure into the past. Have you ever wondered what arcades were like before the modern video game? At Marvin’s you can wonder, explore, and try out both old and new world games and random items you'd find entertaining.IMHO the old games are the best. The weirdest thing about this place is its' awkward location. It's behind a shopping plaza, where its seems more fitting off a major tourist promenade. While games themself are fun I had just as much fun snapping pictures of all the fun bits.

Harold P — Google review

We loved all the retro games with memories of childhood and things before our time. Reasonable cost to play. Many of the antiques had notes with historical information. There is a concession, but we did not purchase food during our visit. Seems like a place you would notice something you missed the previous time. Great stop on our journey for a couple of parents in their 40s with 2 teens.

Alison S — Google review

We traveled up from Nashville to visit Marvin's. Such a cool eclectic collection of vintage games, animatronics, signs, oddities, etc. I could spend hours there. Most games are either 25 or 50 cents to play. How cool is that? Very!! There are no words or photos that could share the coolness of Marvin's.

Adrienne H — Google review

I'm not all that fond of arcades, and Marvin's is an arcade. But it includes vintage and unusual games, and as arcades go it probably deserves 5 stars. As we left, I put my last 2 quarters in the machine we passed at the door coming in. A string of model airplanes suspended from a track on the ceiling circled the arcade. A lot of people looked up and smiled. We asked our grandson how he liked Marvin's. He said, "I think it was the most fun thing in my life."

Tim S — Google review

We visited Marvin's some time ago. What a wonderful place, it's like going back in time. When I heard they were closing, but now it looks like they might be moving, I had to write a review to let everyone know, this place is amazing, so much fun! It is an arcade and museum under one roof. It has a large collection of coin-operated animatronics, mechanical games, pinball machines and other nostalgic and carnival type stuff, this is one of a kind place for adults and kids.

BT — Google review

Absolutely incredible, loved the atmosphere and wackiness of the whole museum. As a fan of Tally Hall, it perfectly matches their first album, but putting the band aside, it was an awesome arcade and collection of strange and unique machines. Will be going back at some point, a must-see attraction and experience. Rest in peace, Marvin, your museum is incredible.

George R — Google review

I haven't been there since 2014 and 2015! It's one of my favorite places to visit ever! Today is me and my brother's 1st time visiting by ourselves. Last time we came, we were with a non-profit agency. Also, I'm saddened that they'll be moving at the end of 2024 year. Hopefully, if they find a brand new location, it'll be much larger than this current one. Finally, I have never met Mr. Marvin himself in my life; I'm saddened that he's no longer with us...😢 One thing I am happy is that his folks will continue to fulfill and work on Marvin's legacy.Stay gold, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum! Stay gold! Me and my brother will DEFINITELY be returning in the future--probably 3 times! 5-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Baul104 B — Google review

Pretty cool place with a mix of games. Pinball to skeeball, with video games in between. There are also alot of antique games there. All to play at affordable prices. They offered light snacks, the popcorn was great!

Kimberly B — Google review

Super cool unique spot! I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to. The airplanes that move around the room are my favorite. The antique games and machines are very cool to see.

Jason H — Google review

Neat place packed with stuff. It's worth just looking around like we did, and a few of the games are unique enough that we tried them out as well. Wasn't too busy when we went on a Saturday in the middle of the day.

Lane S — Google review

This place is awesome!! You can go in for free and look at all the vintage and newer games, exhibits and concession stand. All classic games are still only a quarter!! Pinball is $1 a game but this place is worth stopping by and I hope they don't tear it down. I'm so glad I went and you should too!!

Melissa M — Google review

Very unique to say the least. We didn’t realize it was a fully functioning arcade but very cool. We saw games from as early as 1930’s from all over the world. I wish there was some literature or QR codes giving more info.

Joel C — Google review

This was a blast! I really enjoyed some of the other clockwork pieces. They had pinball and vintage video games. They also had a selection of ticket games and a small prize area. I love that the whole place runs on quarters! I love it!!!

Mag N — Google review

Marvin's is an absolute gem. I was visiting Michigan from North Carolina, and had the pleasure of stopping by today. I'm a big arcade fan, and a vintage/new toy/game collector. I was absolutely blown away by all of the antique and vintage machines/games. I spent quite a few hours taking everything in. It was very affordable, fun, and it made me laugh. The atmosphere is perfect. After finishing with all of the vintage items, I won a few thousand tickets and got a great prize! Marvin's is somewhere everyone should visit once. I hope to be back soon. :)

The Zekelman Holocaust Center

History museum

Museums

Research institute

Sobering museum featuring a WWII-era boxcar & other local & global stories of the Nazi regime.

One of the best in person educational experiences for retaining and learning the history of the holocaust so much visual and authentic historical videos and writings from families and survivors.State of the art facility, handicap accessible. I got a picture of an actual rail car used to transport Jews from the ghetto to other places. Reference size I'm 6 foot and the car would be packed with up to 100 people at a time.

Puggs L — Google review

I haven't been to this museum since grade school, and some aspects are just as I remember them. This is an invaluable experience for anyone who has an interest in WWII and The Holocaust, also for anyone who had families that lived through it, or lost loved ones. The artifacts and exhibits are humbling and devastating, but the spirit of perseverance carries through. It happened before, it is our responsibility to make sure it never happens again.

Sarah M — Google review

Our guide, Kelly was outstanding! She was very in tune with the child and letting us know what they would be seeing around the corner, encase it might be to graphic. She asked the right types of engaging questions... Everyone commented on her kindness and professional attitude.

Shawn O — Google review

Had always intended to go since I had been to the DC Holocaust Museum before. This one is more about the education of the impacted people, the lives of them, the atrocities committed, and more one how to prevent it for reoccurring than the DC museum. This is an older museum though so design sensibilities for museums have changed drastically in the years between the two.Honestly I feel this is more uplifting than DC, but DC being more of a museum destination has to be more impactful in a shorter time. Both are definitely worth the visit if you have only been to one before, check the other out also. Don't let history repeat these abuses.

Timothy N — Google review

Super informative. I went on Sunday at about 11:45 am and there was a survivor speaking for about an hour. Then we had a nearly 2 hour guided tour.If you want to gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust then I would definitely recommend it.Make sure you give yourself at least 3-4 hours because there is a lot to see.

Derek T — Google review

This is not a fun museum, but it is really, really, good. It can be a hard experience to learn first-hand, at a personal level, about the Holocaust. I would 100% recommend this museum, and think that everyone would benefit from a closer look at this terrible part of human history. Let us not forget.

Drew R — Google review

Quite an eye opening experience on the holocaust. We liked all the details that were on display. I think the lights could have been better placed so as to eliminate reflection on the wall artifacts. Additionally, the font colors and sizes made the texts a bit difficult to read due to dim lighting.

Debjyoti D — Google review

Absolutely incredible! I have NEVER experienced anything so mind blowing! Take your kids! Show them! Take your neighbor! Take their kids! You must experience this incredible memorial!

Wheelie M — Google review

This is a wonderful place to bring a school group. Our tour guide was tremendously knowledgeable about the exhibits and The Holocaust. The students all had headphones, so everyone could hear him speak. I'd highly recommend visiting with your students or without if you're not fortunate enough to be a teacher. 😊

Alice C — Google review

My wife & I went visit here in 2017. From we the beginning we had an kind of idea of what to expect, yet we weren't quite sure what to expect. But upon entering we soon realized this wasn't just an average museum. One of the first things you see as you walk in is one of the actual rail cars used in the transport of thousands to their final destination. The whole place is fascinating, educational, yet very sombering. The items on display were from both sides in story line fashion from the time it began, to end, & how things have progressed since. A picture frame display of an actual tree like the one Ann Frank seen upon her last days is seen at the Museum. The tree is from a seed that came from the tree that provided her the only view of the world outside. The highlight of the trip was story telling from an actual survivor of the Holocaust. He did a very good job, drawing the audience in, as he explained the real story of how his life was during the early years of his life. Folks you can't get more real then that. If you get a chance to hear one of these stories from these folks who lived it I would HIGHLY recommend attending as their numbers are dwindling. The only thing that was very disheartening that was seen, & over heard was from some of the other visitors themselves. Youth groups, & young people in general that displayed a lack of interest in history, & showed a lack respect to those that have come before, & the elder adults with them weren't that much better. Very sad to see. Apparently there's still a battle going on. My only hope is that the battle with the Jewish people, & the unfair treatment of them will one day end.

D L — Google review

Nice place to visit. A lot of history in Holocaust with every detail in place. Might be a bit disturbing for sensitive group.

The new playground is spectacular! Too bad these playgrounds weren't around in the 90's ..Anyway, my family enjoyed the afternoon/evening playing and hiking on the trails. The water park looks fun too - I'll have to update my review later in the summer when we check it out.

Clean, no shortage of restrooms, and nice playgrounds for the kids and beautiful trails in the surrounding forest. But the best part of this Park is how great it is for fishermen, boasting pike, largemouth, smallmouth, walleye and all kinds of panfish both in the main river and all the creeks and ponds surrounding it

All Metro Parks are pay to enter. Buy the pass! The entire park is massive, with a lot of areas to grill, play catch, and unwind. Whether you bike, fish, walk, run, or want to play catch, there's room to do it here.Cool Waterpark inside of Lower Huron is worth the price of admission and better than any splash pad around.Tons of pavilions for rent, grills to use, and bathrooms spread throughout the park. Big trees offer shaded areas galore. Close to the highway, and within about 10 minutes of a few stores and places to eat. This is one of the better parks around for exploring.

Great place for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday. Lots of play areas for the kids, and they loved the waterpark

Leotis C — Google review

My go too for camping. It's so clean and nice. But, when I went on one holiday, there was dog poop all over. I had to get it up. I called and complained about it and they were very apologetic and compensated me for it. I was also out there on another holiday weekend and let me tell you. There was a group of ghetto people who stayed up all night. Kids running wild, all through our campgrounds, talking and laughing loudly. No parent supervision. Running in and out of the bathrooms. Boys in the girls restrooms. There needs to be security out enforcing the quiet time from 10-7 a few times a night. It was ridiculous. But, besides that, this is my favorite place to camp. Love the fact that they have the fire pits and picnic tables for you to enjoy too.

Sanders D — Google review

Beautiful place, wildlife abounds. Well maintained.

Valentine S — Google review

The good. The parking areas are fairly level. Beautiful surroundings. The playgrounds are nice & well maintained as are the restroom facilities! The bad. There are very few patrols for noisy guests. Fri. night, the group played extremely foul (swearing every 3-4 word), very loud "music" until 10pm which is the start of quiet hours (10pm-7am). They continued with loud (less raunchy), until 1am.Cell service is non-existent at this location so couldn't contact the park. The next night, a different family was in that same location & started an extremely loud generator at 10pm that ran until 1am.The following night was relatively quiet except for the park police woke us up at around 2am to make sure we were OK. We were finally able to leave the outer door open because it was almost quiet.Although a "guest" about 10 spots away had a generator running until midnight. But, it was a less noisy one.No showers, except in the "Turtle Cove" area that you have to pay to enter. We'll not stay here again.

Went to turtle cove and had a lot of fun with the kids! It was all great besides the long wait to get in.

My family comes here oftenSometimes for the amazing playground. Sometimes, for the amazing nature trails. My sons love checking out the water to watch the fish and crayfish that live in the streams. We plan to try fishing next. There is so much yo do that we haven't even gotten started.

Nice place for a hike. I did the Woods Creek rustic trail, which was easy and indeed fairly rustic compared to other trails in the area. It's all dirt, mud, and roots, so wear some decent footwear.

Nice Metro Park.Well taken care of. Restrooms are clean. Interesting hiking trails. A little challenging with the roots. A bit buggy by the river to be expected, but a nice trail. I'll go back to explore again when the Fall colors are here.

The Toledo Museum of Art is an art museum located in the historic Old West End district of central Toledo, Ohio. The museum's collection features a wide range of art from classical to contemporary, and includes works by some of history's most well-known painters. The Glass Pavilion is one of the most popular attractions at the museum, and its curved glass walls are simply stunning.

I am so grateful to have such an incredible art museum in our city. My son & I frequent this place. We always enjoy ourselves. If and when he does get antsy about not interacting with the art, we just head downstairs where he can touch EVERYTHING! My little dude has been Culturally educated and inspired with the opportunities we've had to visit this place from such an early age. Thanks Toledo!🖼🎨🌃🎵😎

We’ve always had such fun going to the museum. When the kids were little, they would count cats. As we walked from gallery to gallery, there were cats everywhere! In paintings, jewelry, statues. Then they started to appreciate what was around the cats. When my granddaughter turned 9 3/4 we celebrated with a Harry Potter day. So we had to stop at the museum for the great hall, the cloister & we were REALLY careful sharing secrets with paintings and statues.

This place is well worth your visit. We stopped in for my wife's birthday because she had wanted to visit. We started at the Glass museum and watched a 2-hour glass blowing demonstration which was very informative and entertaining. We then made our way over to the museum and spent about two and a half hours walking through the exhibits. They have some amazing art and history in the museum. Some of the modern stuff was not to my taste but just because it's not to my taste doesn't mean that it wasn't good art. I do believe that all people should enjoy art as it is part of our history in this museum definitely has that on display. I would recommend coming early and enjoying the exhibits at your own leisure.

This beautiful complex is wonderfully curated which makes it easy and pleasant to experience the beauty presented. There is variety, history and culture.I discovered a Dutch painting of people enjoying themselves on the frozen canal. And there were men playing golf! Yes, in 17th C.! The golf clubs were similar to those used in the 1920s.There are many buildings on the acreage of the campus. One is the "glass" museum which also houses a glassblowing demonstration and the Impressionist hall. There is paid parking, but free entry. But be careful: if you switch parking lots to go to other buildings, it'll cost another $10. Better to walk across the street. The staff are pleasant and personable, and contributed to a marvelous experiences we had.

We took our grands to the museum for a little culture. The oldest captured images, fascinated by the visuals and absorbed by exploring new angles and different depths of field, with the passion of a young photographer. The youngest hopped up and down, squealing with delight and trying to touch everything - so excited by this new world of color and shapes. But the middle child surprised me because she heard music in every piece she saw and danced joyfully through the exhibits, blissfully immersed in the art she was feeling. Heavy sigh. Nothing is better than being a grandmother. ❤️🫠

Great place to visit. Large collection within the museum. The learning center downstairs was the best part for little ones. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Recommend!

Wow, they have Van Goghs, Renoir, Tiffany’s and Picasso in their collection. World Class.

An amazing museum with a rich collection of exhibits! Here you can spend the whole day and get great pleasure from the contemplation of works of art.

Love this museum. There is enough to spend a whole day here. The glass blowing demonstration was fun also!

This is a great museum with impressive Egyptian collection amongst many others. Don't miss the glass gallery across the street housed in a sleek glass building designed by Pritzker recognized architects. Nothing against Toledo, but this is much more museum than you might expect in such a city.

First time visiting the museum. The staff was professional and friendly and the museum exhibits were awesome. Spent 3 hours and ran out of time. Looking forward to going back. The Caravaggio exhibit was special and I learned a lot about the artist, his life, and style. I have a new appreciation for art in the little time I spent there.

Wonderful curated sample of artwork and preserved spaces. It won't take you all day to view this collection. If you walk or take a bus it's free. You only pay for parking.

The Toledo Art Museum is a really spectacular museum for such a relatively small town. It puts many big city museums to shame (it’s nicer than the Dallas or Atlanta art museums). There is a nice medieval/antiquities collection, as well as a gorgeous large scale Rubens in the main gallery worthy of the Met or a major European museum. Other highlights are two Rembrants, a nice Hals family portrait, an El Greco, a Turner, a Monet, Renoir, two Van Goghs, and Thomas Cole’s “The Architect’s Dream.” There’s also a nice glass museum across the street where the Impressionist/Post-Impressionist art is currently being displayed. Entrance is free, and parking is cheap and plentiful. I’d highly recommend a visit.

Brian P — Google review

For free ($10 parking in their lot), it's a nice museum. The room with their ancient collection is especially nice with a great Roman statue and some complete mosaics. The rest of the museum isn't bad but not especially outstanding. The glass pavilion has two Van Gogh's and one Monet.

The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is a sprawling space dedicated to showcasing American life and ideas. The living history exhibition hall boasts 18 intelligent touch screens and a gigantic assortment of exercises and games, while the historical centre exists in a few sections. The first includes the Museum of American Innovation, which showcases relics from the transport industry that Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat for. The museum is worth the visit for any youngster looking to learn about American history and famous figures from across the spectrum.

I’ll definitely recommend to visit this museum in Detroit. It’s so huge and you can find here a lot of different things. History of United States. Progress of different directions such as railways, cars, planes, different manual productions. They also recommend factory tour and if you get museum and factory you’ll get discount. We didn’t have enough time and went through museum only. We got tickets in the spot and were not actually even planning to go there and it was Friday so I believe you can have tickets at the door any time. Enjoy and bring your kids there are a lot of interactive elements.

The Henry Ford Museum is a fantastic place to explore and learn about history and the evolution of technology over the years. I was truly impressed by how well everything was organized, perfectly placed, and spotlessly clean. The interior was bright and welcoming, which made for an enjoyable visit. My favorite part had to be the cars – seeing the historical vehicles up close was an unforgettable experience! I also really enjoyed the mathematics section, which was both educational and engaging. A must-visit for history buffs and anyone curious about how far we've come!

My recent visit to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village was a mix of discoveries and mild disappointments. We visited on a Wednesday during the summer, so it was relatively quiet, with no school groups around. Greenfield Village seemed to be in a bit of an off-season mode, with limited displays, but we did get to see the glass blowers in action, which was definitely a highlight! The Henry Ford Museum itself is more than just cars—it's a celebration of American innovation. I particularly enjoyed the mathematics exhibit, though I felt it could have been more expansive. The subject has so much potential for an even more immersive display. One thing that caught me off guard was the lack of a Ford employee discount when purchasing tickets. While the employee website mentions a discount, this wasn’t honored at the ticket counter. It would be nice if they could address that to make the experience even better for employees.Overall, it was a good time, and I’d recommend visiting if you’re interested in American history and innovation. Just be aware of the seasonal changes in Greenfield Village and double-check any discounts ahead of time!

I visited the museum on a Sunday, so the factory tour and other areas were closed, leaving only the museum to explore. The ticket price for adults is $36. Kids 4 and under get in free, and you can rent carts to easily move them around. This museum is an absolute gem for history enthusiasts and curious minds alike. The exhibits are vast and diverse, showcasing everything from early automotive innovations to significant cultural artifacts. The museum does a fantastic job of blending interactive displays with historical artifacts, making it an engaging experience for visitors of all ages. The layout is thoughtful, and there’s always something new to discover. Highlights include the presidential vehicles and the original bus from Rosa Parks' historic protest. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the overall enriching experience.Whether you’re a history buff, a tech enthusiast, or just looking for a fun educational outing, the Henry Ford Museum is a must-visit. Highly recommend it for anyone visting this area!🚘🚗🚓🚕🏎️🚔🚖🚙🚐🚌🚍🚐🚎⛴️🚊🚉🚈🚟🚆🚄

We were in town for the Bumper-to-Bumper Auto Parts Technician of the Year Competition. As part of our appreciation itinerary was a day trip to the Henry Ford Museum. My wife & I were so amazed at the amount of history knowledge of the museum we decided to book a motel & stay after the competition, we had our kids drive up ( 17 & 12-year-old boys with a 17-year-old girlfriend) and spent another entire day here with them this time! You could honestly spend 2-3 days here to truly see & do all the activities they have! Especially if you go outside the museum and go into the makeshift city that includes Henry Ford's real childhood house, the Wright Brothers' house & bicycle shop (the shop is where they invented & constructed the airplane), with lots & lots more to do in the city! DEFINITELY BE SURE TO STOP AND GET SOME DELICIOUS CUSTARD! The little shop to get CUSTARD is right after the Wright Brothers' house!

It was one of the best museums I've ever visited. An amazing assortment of innovation under one roof. we spent an entire day there and felt as if we rushed through it. Beautiful assortment of cars, aircraft, and machinery. Then to ha e the bus were Rosa Parks sat and the limo that JFK was shot. Amazing!

Alan S — Google review

Our friend told us this was a must visit if we're ever in the Detroit area. I thought it was going to be a museum dedicated to Ford Motors but I was so wrong. It is an impressive collection of innovations across multiple industries though there is a big area dedicated to the history of the automotive industry, chronicling the advancements in auto technology over time. But there's so much more. I love the elaborate setups that highlighted the aviation heroes. They also have some enormous engine installations of all sorts.I love the displays that depicted highlights from the last several generations. It was nostalgic... The walkman, the pager, the Sony PS1... it was a walk down memory lane for sure.We only gave ourselves 3 hours here but you need a couple days to really go through the exhibits. There's also a tour of the Ford factory, the Greenfield Village, and so much more! A perfect way to spend a day with the family I would think.

Hung T — Google review

I went to the Henry Ford museum with my grandparents and younger brother for a 3 day trip which I do recommend as it takes one day to drive, one day for the museum, and one day for the village. I also highly recommend the Rouge factory tour during a week day so you can see the Ford F150’s during the building process. I was lucky when I went on a Saturday and they were building the F150’s as they normally don’t work Saturday’s and are closed Sunday. We payed for the Family membership which I highly recommend as it covers two people whose names are on the membership along with two children/grandchildren, the membership also covers the admission for the village. The member ship costed I believe 140$ is person and is 215$ online, but for an additional fee the membership can cover all rides at the village. With the membership in general you get 10% off all store merchandise.

Our family stopped in to visit the museum on the way back from a trip through Canada and we're glad we took the slight detour on our way back home. There is so much automotive and American history packed into this space. We could have spent many more hours walking around looking at exhibits but the youngest of our kids had finally had enough after 3 hours.Be sure to check out the paper airplane creation space if you have little ones. We spent the most time there tweaking our designs for the ultimate flight distance. The presidential limos and train area were really cool as well.

Chris C — Google review

A fantastic museum dedicated to American inventions and industry.Came here on a weekday to walk around while it was quiet. We had a great time. The trains and planes are especially amazing to see inside a building, they are just massive.Everything is great and while the layout may seem unintuitive it's actually great because you can wander any direction you like.I can't recommend them enough.

A great day for our 4 generation group. Recommend using the app.caution: high noise level at the Dinosaur Exhibit was unexpected. Kids loved it but taxing on older ears.Noise level in the cafeteria was so loud it triggered some anxiety while ordering and eating.Exhibits outstanding. Be sure to have bluetooth on when using the app.Only problem was person bringing politics into the museum and pestering my family. They finally disengaged.

Cheryl J — Google review

We only visited the museum this trip, but I really enjoyed it. If you love historic automobiles this is the place to visit. They also have several airplanes and a great timeline of vehicular travel in the U.S.

Bill K — Google review

There is something for everyone. History, video games, cars, civil rights, Americana and so much more. There are a ton of historical artifacts here like the Rosa Parks bus and the Kennedy car as well as the one of a kind awesome post world war two fabricated dome house. It is around $49 for the museum and the ford factory tour which is definitely worth it as well. Note there is no production on Saturdays at the factory.

If you've ever wondered whether or not the grass is greener somewhere else, then you should take a trip to The Henry Ford and see and feel how green the grass there really is.Everything I visit, it is exciting and interesting. There are great places to eat and drink for every budget. If you take your own picnic, then I'm sure you'll find a calm place on a lawn to enjoy.I just went to the Old Car Show, and it was full of enthusiastic, fun loving folks who were having a wonderful time sharing their interest in old cars.If you go to the village, try to stop in each of the homes, because you might something wonderfully unexpected. For instance, I just found out that the on-site Loranger Mill, a grist mill, runs about 3 times a year. All of the buildings and exhibits are well done, informative, and engaging to meet any time of the year. The Henry Ford is a truly joyful place to visit.

David S — Google review

Fantastic place to visit! Don't think this is just a car museum, it is a museum of innovation with Greenfield Village capturing places in history. It was such a delightful experience. Henry Ford had the foresight to save so many treasures. You definitely need two day to really see it all.

Kristy P — Google review

Very large museum. Has all types of things and not just vehicles. Steam engines, firearms, furniture, farm equipment, violins, trains, planes, and more.. The vehicles were awesome, not just Ford vehicles but others as well. I think the layout could be a little better, so it would flow better, but still a great place. Tickets were not too expensive and there is a fee to park. Takes several hours to walk through. The Presidential cars were very neat to look at. There are restaurants there for food and drinks, as well as a souvenir shop. Highly recommended to stop by if you are in the Detroit area.

Hands down the most fascinating museum of all time and to think how priceless this exhibit is! You see everything from the light bulb is invented to the car JFK was assassinated to riding in the cars that put the world on wheels…..the Model T. You can watch glass blowing, pottery making, knitting and weaving, printing and more! There is so much effort and truly honoring exhibits to the American legacy as a country and the inventions made that have bettered the lives of many for more than a century! What an honor to come see all this in person! They even had a Tucker Torpedo! Such a rare vehicle! You can go in trains and the stations for kids were neat too! Kids could do some neat projects too! Hands down a MUST

My boyfriend and I visited the Ford museum the end of August last year. We live about 6 hours away in Kentucky. He works in the automotive industry. We both enjoy learning and going to museums. This museum was spectacular! It was huge! It definitely takes a few hours to get through. We bought our tickets once we arrived. You can also purchase them online in advance. There is plenty of parking. There is a restaurant inside the museum as well as a food court area. We had a great day! We did not go to the Village but plan to go there next time!

What a fantastic place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The exhibits were amazing. Travel back in time and see cars, planes, relics from the past. There is something for everyone here. I can’t wait to come back and visit with my mom.

Exceeded my expectations! This place is broken up into so many subcategories and is so massive it just goes on and on and I really was blown away by it!If you want to see everything you need to plan on a couple days. There are tickets that you can buy that you can keep overnight and bring back the next day if that's necessary in your situation.I only went through the museum itself which would be 3 to 4 hours if you walk briskly. There's also the village area which would take an entire day as well. At the time of writing this the museum ticket was $35 per adult in the village area ticket was $41 per adult. The museum has an area with miniature doll houses, steam engines, agricultural equipment from long ago, etc. There was even mathematics exhibit and science center where you can get your geek on... There were a lot of kids in this area as well as the area that had dinosaurs. There are full size airplanes hanging. There were massive train engines and cars throughout the exhibit showing you how massive and big this building is!I did not see everything so I look forward to going back someday!

Michael F — Google review

The most fantastic museum I've ever seen. Planes Trains & Automobiles a time capsule of modern human civilization. So much to see. This museum and Greenfield village would take several days to see everything.

I brought a friend from Texas here to see some of our great Michigan history. We were not disappointed. I have been to the museum with my kids when they were in grade school but this was the first time on my own. Everyone was helpful and the place was clean and safe. There is a lot of walking so leave yourself several hours to see it all.

This museum is truly amazing. Hands down the best in the Midwest! You can spend a whole day and still not experience it all.It got 4 stars because of the parking fee. We bought our tickets online and it automatically adds a parking fee that cannot be removed from your cart. We took an Uber from our hotel but still were forced to pay for parking.

The museum Greenfield Village is located in Detroit and was founded by Henry Ford. The attractions include buildings from America's history that have been relocated to the open-air museum. The land that the museum occupies is also used for forests, rivers, and pasture for horses and sheep.

This was a nice piece of the Henry Ford Museum/Theme Park, it is a great place to bring your kids and enjoy a day outside. Teach your kids some great American history, eat ice cream and take them for a ride in a model T. Everyone was so nice and seems like a lot of the staff have a piece of history tied to this place. I would definitely recommend a visit here while in Detroit.

October 2024 - came here for the Halloween event on a Sunday. My 3 daughters from 7-12 had a great time. They loved the story about the headless horseman, playground, and meeting the people that worked there. They loved the woman in white. We got to see people making glass sculptures, blankets, mugs and other things. A very neat process and I am glad my children got to see it.

Brian D — Google review

Attended the Christmas event they offered. We stopped by the Mini Donut Truck inside the park. After consuming the mini donuts, I got the worst food poisoning I’ve probably had in my life. I’m assuming the donuts might have been undercooked, as they had a huge line and most likely wanted to get orders out quick. The village had a few Christmas attractions, but it felt like it wasn’t as eventful as the Halloween one per se. Overall, I would give them another chance to see the village but maybe avoid the mini donuts this time.

Janette L — Google review

Wonderful place to visit. Train ride around the outside of the village, Model T rides, horse drawn carriages, plus all the historic buildings to visit. Plenty of benches to rest. Clean, abundant bathrooms. Air conditioned cafeteria to grab a bite and cool off.

I chaperone field trips whenever possible, and I'm glad I did this one! It was my first time here, and it is beautiful. Of course, the prices are ridiculous for most things, but it is defined an experience to take in. Not so much for kids less than 10, but it was interesting to see all the preserved items from the 1800's for me.

Went to Greenfield Village on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and it was amazing! We enjoyed walking around the grounds and going back in time. There are many fascinating buildings that have been completely reconstructed as they were at important turning points in history. For example, we enjoyed seeing the Wright Brothers bicycle shop, Edison's Menlo Park Complex and Henry Ford's home and first factory. Harvey Firestone's farm and the courthouse where Abraham Lincoln practiced law were other notable buildings. Greenfield Village is unique in the world and it's awesome! I highly recommend a visit. Many thanks to the great people working there. We'll be back soon!

Excellent place to visit if you are into early American history and innovation. The exhibits and homes are well maintained. The Einstein Menlo Park factories are very interesting, and the tour guides are extremely knowledgeable.

Historic Americana everywhere at Greenfield Village. Historical working farm, shops, steam train, and Model T cars. Historically significant buildings and artifacts to see and explore. Very knowledgeable people working each building and sharing historical information with guests. Plan for a full day. Bring your wallet. Highly recommended.

Greenfield Village was an amazing experience we went to Greenfield Village but also to the Henry Ford Museum I took my daughter with me who's very much into learning about history and we enjoyed ourselves. All of the exhibits in the museum where really interesting and just seeing the evolution of cars and even the art pieces it was just really a great experience. Even the area that was dealing with black history was super informative I had never seen the actual bus that Rosa Parks was arrested from (and they had that actual bus) great experience for my kids. The Greenfield Village area with people dressed in the clothes that they wore back in during those times was really cool to see the cars that they drove in we rode on the train that was powered by coal... that was a really cool experience. Seeing how certain things were made like the Pottery area or area where they made the pottery and the guide told us about how it was made and what they used to actually decorate the pottery after it's been fired and glazed. Really cool and really good information. We got to see them actually blow glass they showed the actual method in which they used to create glass sculptures and things like that. It was really hot but it was really cool to watch... great experience overall! Definitely want to come back and take nieces and nephews and my other kids with me the next time that I go.

It’s a pure delight that we have this place in our backyards! It’s truly amazing how many significantly historical artifacts are centralized in one place. In many ways you can relive history as you walk through the Wright Brother’s shop or Thomas Edison’s workshop and more. Beyond these you can experience what life was like in days past. Many of the reinactors truly add to the experience. I recommend eating at one of the restaurants as they offer many historical dishes. I’d better stop here because I can go on and on. Check it out if you want to experience history. I’ve renewed my my membership for at least 6 years now. Our 8 yo still loves this place.

Harold P — Google review

This is a delightful place to spend 3-4 hours. It is almost like going around to lots of different places instead of seeing just one. There is a very nice playground for young kids who need to take a break. Most of the people who shared information in each place were very good at reading whether you wanted to hear more or were ready to keep moving. This is truly a Michigan treasure. The price is a little steep. On the other hand, compared to something like Disney, you'll learn more, not deal with crowds or lines, food is reasonable or you can go back to your car, and the price of a single Disney ticket will probably pay for your whole family here.

David B — Google review

I absolutely love this place. I grew up in Roseville area and now live out of state. This is a must visit when I come home. This time I was able to watch my cousin play baseball as if they were in the 1800s. My favorite time to go is Christmas.

Chris L — Google review

My family really enjoys the Village! There's tons to see, do, eat, learn, and buy. I like taking my young kids here to run around. It's super spacious, so even when there's a lot of people there, it doesn't feel crowded. There's a billion places to park. Plan on doing a LOT of walking. Lots of food options (and you can bring your own in.) The Village hosts a variety of events throughout the summer that are really fun, too. There's always something to do there.

Brittany J — Google review

What's not to love here!?! This is my most favorite place in the whole world! My most recent visit was for Motor Muster, and it was one of the best days of my life! The Mac n Cheese from Taste of History is just the best Mac n Cheese on the planet! I'm a huge train person, so seeing the train was the coolest thing ever! We did do an emergency stop in the back because the trains breaks malfunctioned, but it was still really fun!! I love all the history there and I even went home with a souvenir, a print from the print shop!!! Can't wait to go again!! If you haven't gone yet, you're missing out!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat!!

Luke — Google review

Greenfield Village is an amazing place. There's something here for people of all ages. An outdoor collection of historical buildings, homes, craft shops, and artifacts from all over the US (and in some cases Europe) set up into Districts. Character actors and docents are located throughout the Village to give demonstrations and answer questions. The only con was that the cost of an adult ticket ($39) and parking ($9) was a bit on the high side. Also, the property is huge, so expect to do a lot of walking.

Scott N — Google review

Such a wonderful experience! My kids loved learning all of the history, and seeing what life was like 'back in olden times'. Their favorite part was riding in the Model T cars around the village!

I absolutely love visiting Greenfield village! This time when we went it was Thomas day (we didn't know before hand), we had a great time! My favorite part is the glass blowing! It's so fascinating! There were so many places to stop and so many things to do! I will be back, have always had a great experience here!

I loved this place as a kid and finally had an opportunity to go again at 69 years old. Even more impressive now.Tickets are cheaper online and they charge for parking when you buy your ticket - $9. Plus you pay extra to ride the train and a free other things. E.Where else can you actually see history like the Wright brothers bicycle shop, Edison’s actual lab, Webster’s home, and much more? So grateful Ford had thYou can bring food into the park for a picnic type lunch. Wish I’d know that ahead of time.

Went to Greenfield Village with my cousin this week! We had a great time (in-spite of undisciplined children and parents blind to their action). The village is an amazing place if you enjoy living history like we do. Working farm house visits, where the staff eat homegrown lunch and share their meal experiences as you tour the homes. We ate at an 1800’s sit-in period restaurant featuring food harvested at the village and prepared as it would have been back then. It was amazingly good.We walked the grounds and had a wonderful time. I love it when my cousin is with me. She gets me out and laughing

The Imagination Station is a hands-on, educational children's science museum with permanent exhibits that offers programs and summer camps. It is located in the center of Toledo and contains over 300 interactive exhibits on a range of topics including agriculture, engineering, solar energy, sound waves, weather systems. A popular attraction for locals and tourists alike, it is one of the most acclaimed museums in the city.

The former COSI, with a new name, same great experience.Super fun experience. Lots of exhibits. Clean. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy on the street and the garage across the street. Not overly crowded on a Sunday.Only improvements I’d suggest: military vet discounts and some attention to restroom cleanliness.Great way to spend a day. The fun exhibits could easily occupy kids 2-teen for 3-5 hours. The motion simulator is a nice addition. Don’t skip the outdoor sound exhibits.

This place was so amazing! We came from out of state to go here and the kids had so much fun and there’s so much to do! 100% recommend and we may just make it a yearly trip because it was so good and the kids loved it. The kids were so tired after that when we got in the car the took a nap didn’t even make it out of the parking garage. The pricing was great for everything that you got to do!

Fun place, worth the 1 hour drive. The new dinosuar exhibit is fun, and the "regular" displays are great as always. The little kid area is fun, but watch out or they'll get wet quickly. My kids all love the illusions area and the demonstrations.

Tony H — Google review

Came with my summer campers, and they loved every minute. The exhibit Cardboard: Build Outside the Box was the crowd favorite. We spent the first hour in this exhibit. For those kiddos who weren't sure where to start, there's plenty of inspiration walking around and even a 'leave a project' shelf where others can leave their project so someone else can add on to it. We were there for a total of 4.5 hours, but the kids were never bored and were upset they had to leave.

Adriana R — Google review

So much fun for everyone. Staff is insanely nice. The entire place was very clean, even the bathrooms. Snacks and drinks are on the expensive side. We went on a weekday. It was busy but not crowded. My son was able to have access to all the attractions. The whole family had fun.

Imagine Station sounds like a fantastic place for kids to explore and learn through play! We visited on a weekday and were able to avoid the crowds. The variety of exhibits covering gravity, electricity, magnets, and more are engaging for children of all ages. If you're looking for a hands-on learning experience for your kids, Imagination Station is definitely worth checking out. The food is not the best but is enough for recharge battery and keep exploring. I definitely recommend the simulator, my kids loved it.

Adan G — Google review

We took a 4 y/o and 1 y/o on a weekday and had a blast! There's tons to see. It was a little crowded at times due to summer camps, but tolerable. The gated area for under 4 was perfect, but both kids loved walking around and exploring all of the other areas. Great for adults too! The cafe was pretty limited and expensive, but you could easily bring a packed lunch. Recommend bringing a change of clothes and towel if your Littles like playing in water.

I had the pleasure of visiting the most incredible science museum I've ever laid eyes on, and I'm still reeling from the experience. What struck me immediately was the emphasis on hands-on learning, with every exhibit designed to engage and educate visitors of all ages. My favorite is the gravity bike. Who knew Toledo, Ohio has this gem. Indeed, a must visit. I have visited different science museum across the country and Imagination station is the best so far.

Like me over our kids love to go here! Quite a bit of activities for them to do. It keeps my three kids busy for a good couple of hours. Nice thing is when you're done you can go right out back to the river. They also have great dining All along The River too.

I am a 19 year old and I went with my friends who are all over 18 and it was super fun and interesting. We spent about 4 hours here. This museum is honestly one of the most fun I've been to. It's good for little kids (they have a toddler/baby section), kids, and adults. The movies are also quite good.

Now this place should be the model how all museums and parks should operate! Interactive engagement for kids and adults alike working on projects. Nailed it guys!!! Fantastic. I'd give more stars if possible.

Mark M — Google review

We come here about once a month. The kids love it. As far as educating my five year olds, I'd say it's mild. The live shows are the best for that and those are fantastic. But for providing reasonably priced play that is certainly positive and MAY be educational, it's the best.As a hint, Lucas County residents get in free on Saturdays.

Adam R — Google review

Great place to spend a few hours with the kids. Lots of hands on learning stations. Really enjoyed the Dinosour exibit. Well spread out and multiple of sections to go to. Parking near by. Wish the cafeteria had more options to eat but not to bad.

Ryan M — Google review

Lots of fun and science stuff to do with the kids. Can easily spend 3-4 hours depending on the experiences you want to cover. Wasn’t crowded even though we visited on a weekend. Tickets can be purchased at front desk. Parking is a challenge as they don’t have it on spot, though lot many parking structures are open nearby.

We love this Toledo attraction! A fun way to spend a day or treat your family to a season pass for an outing option. I love that there is something for all ages, babies on up! We like to get food somewhere downtown before or after and on the nice days go walk the river front. Street parking is awesome when you can find it, if not using the garage. Make sure to make time for the plane simulator.

Jessie B — Google review

Went for a teenagers birthday and I'm not sure if he had more fun or if the adults did! It was great. Super interactive, it's worth buying the ultimate all inclusive pass. I will definitely go back again soon!!

Lala — Google review

When I tell my kids we are going to the imagination station, I may as well have told them we're celebrating Christmas early. Their favorite attraction in the museum is the sideways house, and as toddlers they could have spent the entire visit in the Kids Zone. My only complaint is that there seems to be a field trip visiting every time we come and the place is packed with kids and it makes it a little harder to enjoy yourself.

Amber S — Google review

Really cool place to take your kiddos! Clean, lots of exhibits, and right on the water! Parking garage is kinda far away but nice underground walkway to get to museum etc!

Nathan B — Google review

I bought a membership because this is a great place to bring kids. It's not only educational it's fun!!! Exploring having fun and learning at the same time is a win-win! Kids learn hands on. They can touch and explore everything.

Connie M — Google review

Get the membership. It's worth it. My kids love it, there are always new activities for the kids.

This museum explores the history of the five Great Lakes and features a retired ore freighter. It is located on the east bank of the Maumee River in downtown Toledo.

Excellent museum for adults and kids alike. The ship was so fun for walk around on and IN. You can actually go inside the cargo hold!We had to rush through the museum, as we cam late in the day, but it was pretty cool. Definitely worth a trip back. They are updating a park next to the museum, so summer '23 should be a great time to visit. Then goto Maumee Bay brewery for lunch 😁

Matt M — Google review

Glad to have stopped after our trip to the Toledo Zoo! How often do you get the chance to walk the deck of a Great Lakes freighter!? Don't forget to take the stairs down mid deck to see inside the cargo hold, almost a surreal experience. The museum itself was presented very well and I could see myself coming again to learn more.

Joe M — Google review

Great find on a road trip. The ship was very cool to visit with my kids (4, 6, 9); however was quite nerve wracking with the 4 year old ensuring he didn’t fall through railings on top or on the steep stairs. There is a self guided tour app that was too slow for going with kids but we enjoyed the signs along the way. The ship itself took us about 45 minutes so we didn’t have time to do the tug boat because new tours stop an hour before closing and we started the ship at 3:45. There is also a lot to look at in the museum. And hour and a half wasn’t enough time!

Stephanie H — Google review

Interesting and informative. The ships were surprising in size. The interactive displays inside the museum center were well thought out and had something for everyone. Living history is a great teacher.

Diana L — Google review

Loved it! You can spend hours going through and reading each and every little.tad bit of info. As a marine mechanic, I was always curious as to what was inside the building. Unfortunately, we went too early in the season, and the on-board tours were not available yet. We will be back to see them!

Josh J — Google review

Our daughter loves barges so we thought it would be fun. It definitely exceeded expectations. The tour of the barge was great. We met a very nice docent who used to work on that very barge. He shared stories and his knowledge about the barge. It was the best part of the tour.

Dan H — Google review

The museum portion is an excellent display of Great Lakes Shipping and area items. Some hands-on displays are very interesting. The Ships and Boat are hard for some people to access. Plenty of parking on a normal day. Easy access off I-280 and Front Street.

Larry T — Google review

Wonderful museum! The highlight being the freighter docked alongside that is included with museum admission. Such a treat to wander all over the ship! The best experience was encountering former ship pilots who offered personal stories and insights on what it was like to work on these Great Lakes freighters!

Helene G — Google review

I really love the history of the state I call home. Ohio was so instrumental in the development of our country and to see a small part of this museum was a treat. I can't wait to return after the renovations and tour the barge and tug.

William H — Google review

Worth a visit to this museum! So much history and beautiful displays. Growing up next to a Great Lake, I knew some of the history but this museum covers so much more. There’s so many artifacts, photos, and interactive displays to look at. The video at the beginning is also worth a watch. You could easily spend several hours exploring.

Kristin K — Google review

I enjoyed it. The stories this museum presents are fascinating and special history to the local area. I love that they support and exist to restore the Great Lakes and tell our area's history from Indian and native tribes to colonial days up to modern history. It's wild how deadly the great lakes were, and I never knew of all the crashed boats until this museum. Touring the boats they have on site is also neat. My cons are I wish it was much bigger (I think they're expanding a little) and the gift shop wasn't so expensive.

Cara N — Google review

We absolutely love this place. We live near Detroit and my dad lives near Pittsburgh, so we use this museum as a chance to stretch our legs and spend some time outside of the car. It has fantastic exhibits, including artifacts from the Edmond Fitzgerald wreck. We also really enjoyed the freighter tour. Highly recommend.

Samantha S — Google review

Beautiful museum! It was my first time here I stopped by on my way home from being out of town for a few days. Here are some photos I took on the ship.

Lauren — Google review

I’ll give another awesome review.. We enjoyed our time. I would recommend spending a good 2 hours here if you really want to read and learn about it. We did the ship then the museum (kiddos really wanted to see the ship first) but I would recommend the museum then the ship.

Ashlee M — Google review

I’ve lived in Ohio my entire life and I knew very little about our Great Lakes! What a fabulous museum! The history and displays and everything about this place is incredible! We didn’t plan properly and couldn’t go on the freighter or tug boat, so that just gives us just cause to go back!!! Definitely worth the reasonable ticket price! Fun little souvenir area as well. Very clean museum, lots of parking, bathrooms very well maintained and the grounds are very well kept! Fun for all ages!!

Lisa — Google review

This place is great, but wait till the renovation is completed. Wow. So much to see. Very interesting and interactive. A must see if in area. Awesome.

J B — Google review

The museum is full of interesting facts about all the Great Lake. Artifacts and story boards of numerous ships and shipwrecks are a look back in time. We liked the interactive displays, which included controlling a video drive on the Edmond Fitzgerald. It takes an hour or two to checkout all the displays. The outdoor ship tours are seasonal. We visited in December but will plan a return trip to check out the freighter.

Rebel C — Google review

If you enjoy history, this is a must to visit! The freighter was awesome to tour, and the museum had so much interesting info, you could definitely spend the better part of a day here! I absolutely want to go back!

Dennis M — Google review

This museum is probably best for kiddos in elementary school but my 3 year old also had a blast ! She loved exploring the ships and seeing the difference in boat engines. Staff was super sweet had a great time !

Kelly B — Google review

Visiting from KS and my kids and I love museums. This is a really cool one! We enjoyed the interactive activities they have to offer inside the building. The ship itself is really cool too. Make sure not to touch knobs and doodads on the ship.. oops!

River Raisin National Battlefield Park

Historical landmark

Sights & Landmarks

Battle site

Museum

National park preserving the historical site of pivotal battles during the War of 1812.

The park facility is relatively new and quite impressive. There is a very well done 25 minute movie on the earlier events and battles at River Raisin. There are several displays at the Visitor center, huge diorama of Frenchtown , and a gift shop. There are paths outside to tour the battlefield with historical markers. Overall gained a great understanding and appreciation of what happened here and overall northwest frontier. Need to mention that the ranger at the Visitors Center - Tony - was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.

Dennis P — Google review

One of the best NP visitor centers in the whole country! And we’ve been to a lot.We were extremely impressed with the visitors center at this battlefield. It’s currently under construction. So the only things available, are a miniature display of the town, a gift shop, and a movie you can watch about the battles here.We were told that the rest should be completed in October. We came before then, and asked for a tour of the new section. It is truly spectacular! The planning, time, preparation, and thought that has gone into what they’re creating is incredible! It’s almost like a hands-on interactive, children’s museum. Everything is made authentic to the way the natives lived. And gives so much perspective on life back then.Check the schedule and try to come when there is a re-enactment outside. The volunteers put on a spectacular show and we learned so much afterwards, as we asked them questions. Our kids were also able to get their junior ranger badges. We all really enjoyed the section where they learned about trading and what different goods were worth. As well as the look and find part of the town display.

Steph G — Google review

One of the newest parks in the Park Service. They are working hard to create a state of the art facility. When the educational center is up and running it will be a fantastic field trip for schools and other groups looking for a hands on experience.

Rob B — Google review

It's a small but nice national park, and it's one of the best places in the Detroit area to learn some history.

Noah D — Google review

This was a pleasant surprise! The Jr Ranger program, the diamorama and the new exhibit they are building are excellent!

Andrea C — Google review

In Monroe, MI there is a national park that commemorates the War of 1812, a forgotten war in American history! Several battles that took place in January of 1813 in Monroe and Wayne county. A picturesque park with nice views, benches, walking paths and BBQs! Come spend a nice afternoon at this Michigan National Park!

Sean Q — Google review

Really nice national park battlefield with a great trail to walk around on. I recommend going down the main Street stretch of Monroe to get the whole tour of the battle of River Raisin! Staff was helpful and friendly as well!

Daniel G — Google review

We made a point in visiting here over Memorial Day weekend, seemed appropriate. It’s a beautiful place to learn about the battle during 1813 on all the bronze placards along the short walking loop, and the beautiful stone engraved benches. Coming up from Kentucky, we had no idea that Kentucky volunteers fought here alongside the townsfolk and many lost their lives doing so. The trails around the battlefield, are a great walk in beautiful early summer weather. You feel the history, as you walk. Highly recommend the trails. We did not go to the Museum however, as it isn’t dog friendly. We have 1 recommendation however, waste cans…we are responsible pet owners that had no place to put the poo bag 🥴, made car a bit smelly until we got to a trash bin.

Suzanne A — Google review

surprisingly good place. there is a 20 minute or so film that is a must see. it explains more about the war of 1812 that I needed to know. the diorama was good, the staff was wonderful, particularly the gentleman that also was in the film. good stop.

Mike H — Google review

This park is attached to The sidewalk from RR battlefield park so not sure if they are actually related to each other. Grandson had a great time and the building looked like it would be very interesting. Another day we will go inside!

Susan L — Google review

We were really impressed by the set up. Very informative, they were just setting up the new exhibit when we were there, but it was really nice so far, so many interactive things for all ages, my 20 year old son just loved it. The people there were great too, answering questions and explaining displays. Nice gift shop with reasonable prices, a few snacks and drinks too...and a squished penny machine!! I collect, so super excited about that. Clean bathrooms. We happened to go when they were having demonstrations outside with people dressed in period clothes and very friendly and informative. They had axe throwing, my son did much better than myself. All free too! Large parking lot. easy to find right off the highway. Our family had a great time and will definitely be back for the reenactments and to walk the battlefield, I understand there is a marked trail with information plaques but we didn't get a chance to check that out yet.

Alisa W — Google review

Nice museum at the visiter center with film. A lot of plaques describing a battle of the war of 1812. Describes a massacre of the Indians libing in the area.

John V — Google review

Learn history of War of 1812. The new visitor center. Parking lot is currently under construction.

C. W — Google review

They've done an amazing job with this place - I haven't been in a LONG time, not since a school field trip maybe 20 years ago. The new visitor center is stunning and the movie that they show about the history of the site and the area is INCREDIBLE. The staff were all super friendly and fun to talk to.

Nicole M — Google review

The staff is kind and knowledgeable with the local history. Exhibits are great (what is up so far), and I'm looking forward to seeing this place when fully completed. Would give five stars, but they're frequently closed in the main area after periods of work even though it doesn't present a hazard and there's nobody actively working.

Kerry — Google review

In my quest to visit all the National Parks (historic sites, battlefields, trails, and more) I happened upon River Raisin on a quite rainy and chilly afternoon. While being the only visitor when I arrived, the park staff were very helpful and willing to ensure my experience was a great one. They cued up a video (another group wandered in by this time) to cover the history.Afterward, I still felt like exploring the area, despite the rain, and I was given a few paper maps that I supplemented with the free NPS app (which I highly recommend you download). This pointed me towards some cool historic sites also maintained by the NPS and offered me a glimpse into the past of the historical events that took place in this area.

Nick L — Google review

We took our 11 year grandson here as part of his Michigan History study. The visitor's center is very well done and informative. He was quite impressed with the gun display. The video presentation was well done.We did a short loop of the actual battle fields. It was less than satisfying. More like walking in the fields at home except for the occasional bench. It is well worth a stop to the visitor center. I'll let you determine whether walking in fields within an industrial park is worth your time.

Linda D — Google review

A very nice visitor center for the history enthusiast. A well made documentary movie about the River Raisins place in the war of 1812 is shown in a theater. The Native American role in the battle of River Rasin is well described.

Stu V — Google review

Wasn't sure what to expect. Knew a little about the battle and War of 1812 before we went but learned a lot while there. This battle played a large role in the war and the United States native American policies for years to come. It's extremely interesting. The free movie explains the battle and its aftermath. I say free because you used to have to pay, but now it is being funded by the Oklahoma Wyandotte. Museum is well put together with many interactive displays and many more to come. Definately worth a visit. Besides the museum, you can also walk the grounds where the battle toook place and read several markers explains what happened. Will go back, hopefully, in January or February when the reenactment takes place.

B H — Google review

Caught this place on our way through Michigan. Super fascinating!! Thank you to Mary Minney for doing such a great job at telling us the history of River Raisin! Check out the pics of the diorama!! The detail is amazing!¡

Jay D — Google review

Had the pleasure of getting a tour and see some behind the scenes things going on at the RRNBP! They have done an amazing job with this place: floor map, exhibits, theater, interactive things for kids, authentic displays and more! Definitely recommend! Great gem for the City of Monroe! P.S ace throwing only available for businesses, but they are working on making it available to public

Nature & Parks

Park

Lake Erie's only state park offers 1 mile of lakeshore with campsites plus wildlife walks & hiking.

Don't let the smoke stacks cloud your judgment of this park. It has so much to offer!Miles of scenic trails for birdwatching, running, walking and biking. The trails I hear will be getting some much needed work to ensure a safe and smooth trek. There are many fishing piers and access points to kayak the waters in and around the park. For Boat Nerds, you can watch great lake freighters out on the horizon. If you're lucky, you may see them pulling into the River Raisin just south of the park. The sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous and beautiful and the pops of color are amazing. If I have on complaint, it's the human factor on the Beach. Please don't litter. There are many garbage receptacles. We can do better.

Sarah E — Google review

I really wanted to show my brother at least one of the Great Lakes for his bday. Lake Erie is the closest to us. We grabbed some food and went to the closest park with a beach. When we showed up we were stunned to see how big the park was. Lots and lots of parking! They have rental cabins, camping, day visiting, and a boat ramp! The water was calm and clear. We enjoyed hours of walking up and down the shore. It’s a beautiful spot to have a picnic, walk your dogs, read a book, etc. I’ve already been back with friends and my husband. We’ve all enjoyed it every time! I recommend stopping!

Nora F — Google review

The park is spacious, plenty of area to explore. Large parking area. Plenty of bathrooms. Pavilions with picnic tables and grill areas. Large beach front, great for swimming and a peir I saw people fishing off of although it's a bit rocky on that end, much more rugged, not for small kids.I was thrilled to find some neat fish bones, shells and beach glass and a little baby turtle!

Will G — Google review

Visiting from Chicago and stopped by for a quick hour for fishing. Boy I'm amazed how well kept this park is, specially the fishing pier. Caught two fishes; a freshwater white drum fish and a catfish. Definitely recommended for a chill fishing trip.

Adnan A — Google review

My kids and I love going to our state park 😁 it's really nice, usually clean 😄 my girls love swimming and the park they offer. They have a great walking trail as well. Oh yes can't forget their campground. Plan on camping beginning of October here

Rachel W — Google review

Wow, what a hidden gem! This state park is truly a treasure. And, of course, no visit to this park is complete without a visit to the legendary Pee Log. This iconic log has become a beloved landmark for both tourists and locals alike, and it's easy to see why. It's the perfect spot to take a quick break and leave your mark (literally!). Overall, I highly recommend this state park to anyone looking to connect with nature and experience something truly special.

Cole M — Google review

Good for family outing, there are several trails for hiking and biking, park includes campgrounds and access to beach and boat docks. Park is well maintained and there are clean bathrooms. This is a 4 rating as the cost for entry is 11 dollars, if you are planning to visit multiple times then get the annual pass.

We had a blast..Only an hour from home and felt like heaven..we camp d there for 4 days..Clean.quiet.beautiful beach.huge campsites with big fire pits.. a lot of space for games and picnics we will definitely be back..

Kimberly R — Google review

We stayed here in our skoolie for two weeks and it's been one of our best stays to date! First off, the beach!! You're so close and there's a private area just for the campground which was never busy and was close enough that the kids could just walk over there whenever they wanted. There's also a trail that was really nice. Clean bathrooms and showers. Can't wait to go back here

Moshe S — Google review

This is a very nice state park with full hook up pull thru sites. Lots of water around for water activities. There's hiking trails and a playground for kids. I wasn't a fan of the big factory smoke stacks very close by.

Amy G — Google review

Really nice public boat launch, multiple restrooms, campground area, dog friendly, 2 major lakes, bike and walking trails, separate waste disposal area for campers, fishing dock in the back near the campground, and a canoe launch area. Requires a Michigan recreational pass sticker to enter the park. Stickers can also be purchased at the main gate. Very close to a nuclear power plant, you can see the twin stacks nearby. Overall, well kept and a safe park. Everyone that we ran into (guests, park rangers with guns, and staff) were really friendly!

Doug B — Google review

The water isn't near as clear as Lake Michigan, but it was a lot warmer. Great spot to watch the sun rise. The campground is dog friendly, but the beach is not.

Enjoyed staying here. Nice big beach. Roomy campsites. Bring a means for shade if it's hot. Trees are small.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Monroe. The beach has really been cleaned up (compared to what it was in the past so I've heard)There are trails for walking, there are docks for fishing with the kids, there's a playground, there's a full campground, there's a boat launch I can launch my swing keel sailboat.

Gregory S — Google review

Nice park and beachNo alcohol. No pets on the beach but let's on leash are allowed nearby. No showers at beach but you can walk a ways to the campground for showers. There was a food truck there, not sure the schedule. Nice trails. Well maintained.

Jeff P — Google review

Came here on a eim bc we were staying at a hotel in Monroe for the weekend for a girl's trip and came across this beach. The sand is a little sea-shelly but not terrible. Water was actually decently warm and there were plenty of areas for people to set up and benches for picnics and bbqs. Was definitely a nice relaxing spot for us to hang out for the morning/early afternoon on a Saturday. There are ants in the grass, possibly even fire ants bc where we were laying out towels I ended up getting bit 3 times and they were on fire!!! So I suggest sitting in the Sand area or on chairs to stay away from the ants/bugs. It also sucks that 2 different factories of some sort are on either side and you can see all the smoke/fumes coming from them and I'm sure that's not good for our environment 🤣 but for just the day it was perfect!! It was 11$ per car to get in. They also have camping and trails but we didn't do any of that.

Amanda R — Google review

This is a great park. Clean beach, we haven't seen it too crowded yet. We found some pretty cool rocks on the shore.

Terri B — Google review

Had a wonderful 5 night stay this past week. Campground is kept in very nice shape by a caring staff and hosts. Washrooms were always clean. Nice trails to walk and ride bikes on. Beach is excellent. We plan on camping there again soon!

Glenn G — Google review

Sterling State Park is a fantastic destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The park offers beautiful, well-maintained trails perfect for hiking and biking, along with stunning views of Lake Erie. The beach area is clean, making it an excellent spot for a relaxing day by the water. The camping facilities are top-notch, with spacious sites and modern amenities. Wildlife is abundant, adding to the park's natural charm. Whether you're looking to explore nature or simply unwind, Sterling State Park is a great choice for a day trip or a weekend getaway.

Eileen T — Google review

Very nice park stopped just for the night. Nice walking trails. Beach also looks nice. The only thing was that our spot wasn't mowed, and the grass was pretty long. Need to come back when it's summer weather to enjoy the beach.

Fishing Charters & Tours

We went out on a charter with your service on 09/17/2023 with Captain Ben Genzman. We had a great time and Captain Ben was so knowledgeable about the lake and the fishing. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend Captain Ben to anyone who wants to catch fish and have a great trip!

Steven R — Google review

Booked a short executive 1 night and 1 day trip for yellow perch, relatively last minute, for a group of 6. Bob worked to find us a captain and secured the services of Captain Randy. Working with Bob was excellent. 10/10.Lodging was fantastic, everything you could need was provided and was very clean. The quality of the lodges, pricing, quality, and convenience are absolutely 10/10.Captain Randy. Super nice guy, very helpful and patient with some new anglers on board. Helped everyone rig up, teach people how to fish for perch, explained a whole lot. We had a pretty solid day catching some really big, and really small, perch. The weather got a bit warm so the bite wasn't as good as it could have been, but we still landed over 20lbs and had a great time. The only regret I have is not having more cash on hand for a massive tip. I couldn't recommend Randy's services enough, we'll be requesting him by name on repeat visits. Absolute 20/10.

Afternoon Charter was hitting with Kris. The guy knows how to fish and knows all the spots. We had some beers, some music, and A LOT of fun! Limited out on our 1st day. Make sure you listen to the captain! Can’t wait for tomorrow!

Me and 5 other guys booked a 3 night stay and 2 day executive walleye fishing trip with sea breeze charters. Captain Mike R. Was our captain for the 2 days of fishing. Capt Mike was on em! We all caught walleye and had a multi species bag at the end of each day. He was very informative and answered every question we would throw at him. He worked hard and laughed harder with the group. Anybody looking to book a trip I highly recommend capt. Mike R. Boat 24

Captain Kris was great and we limited out in 2 hours. A great time and great fishing. Best lake Erie experience in 15 years!

Andy B — Google review

We booked a 2 day fishing trip with Captain Kevin Whaley and it was great !! Kevin is a great Captain with lots of knowledge in the sport of fishing. He taught our group how to operate the setup for trolling. We caught tons of fish and we all had a blast. The smiles on the kids faces was PRICELESS. We will be back again

Matt H — Google review

Captain Kris was hands down the best captain we are yet to have while doing a charter with sea breeze charters. He put us directly on the fish and we limited out in afew short hours in mid April which doesn’t happen often! Kris definitely receives a five start review from my group. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Billy M — Google review

Great 2 day trip with Captain Tom Cat. Definitely put us on the fish as we brought home 30 pounds of walleye filets between 4 of us. Great lodging and Captain Tom made each day fun and productive. A great time for 4 old navy buddies getting together after .over 25 years. Will definitely be making this an annual get together with the Sea Breeze crew

Went two days. First day had Brice as our Captain, he did not disappoint. Extremely knowledgeable and just a nice easy going guy! Second day we were with Robert, our go-to-Captain. Highly recommend both of them. Limited out both days and came home with a cooler full of walleye. Signed, Girls Gone Fishing (and our two guys!)

Brought my two daughters with me for a group fishing trip. We had a 3 night stay at the lodging with two days of fishing. We all had a great time and a great stay. Our Captain, Ron, was extremely helpful and taught us what we needed to do but also helped throughout the entire fishing trip. We had a great time and I'd definitely want to return.

First time experience for me. Went with 5 of my buddies that have done the Charters before. Put us right on the fish. Got our limits both days. Great experience. Captain was great

T.Highley — Google review

I took 5 people with me on this adventure. I had heard about lake Erie walleye fishing from my dad. We where all excited to catch fish, like that meaning many at a time. I and my group all had a great time. We all knew how to fish, but not at such a pace. We had captain Tom Cat, he was awesome, just the right person for a bunch of guys. We just about limited out our first day, and did the second day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND I will go back soon. Everyone that came with is still talking about it.

Brian W — Google review

Captain Mike was great. Would recommend using him. He was very thorough with showing us how to set up and we were pulling in walleye so quick we couldn’t keep up!!

Captain Tom was amazing, my husband and I with my 15 year old daughter took a private fishing charter. Captain Tom taught and allowed my daughter and myself all the techniques we needed to catch a ton of fish. We definitely had a blast and will be returning with Captain Tom. He was very patient with my daughter teaching her how to set the lines, alternate the poles and bring the fish in. She was so excited, along with my husband and my self. Captain Tom definitely knows the best spots to fish

Went out with captain Kevin and had a great time. My dad came from puerto rico to visit and I took him on his first walleye charter. He ended up catching the biggest one at 25 inches. I have been on a couple other ones and this was by far the best trip I've had. Capt Kevin showed us alot and went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable and I definitely will be booking through sea breeze again.

Had an amazing trip! Both captains, Ron and Barry were great! They had us on the fish immediately. Accommodations were good too. Beds were small but very clean. Can't wait to go again!

Amanda B — Google review

We had an evening trip and a morning trip the following day with Captain Kris for walleye . We limited out on the evening trip . On the morning trip it was a tough start due to high winds and rain overnight. We still ended up the 23 fish ( which is 7 away from limiting out ) . Captain Kris worked his tail off getting us on the fish . I would highly recommend Sea Breeze Charters and Captain Kris .

Jim H — Google review

Captain Ron was absolutely phenomenal! We spent two days fishing with him and both days we limited out on Walleyes. He was knowledgeable and we enjoyed his humor.

Matthew B — Google review

We had a blast. Music, food and Robert G is a great captain. He put us right on the fish, baited my line for me and was great company. Sleeping quarters were neat and clean. All smiles. Highly recommend!

Arboretum

Historical landmark

Former estate of President Rutherford B. Hayes, featuring home tours, library, museum & grave site.

I took the house tour and self toured the museum. I really enjoyed it. Lots if interesting facts and artifacts from the late 1800's. My husband loved the weapons room and my kids enjoyed the doll room and train room a lot. The house tour was like touring a life size period dollhouse! The grounds were nice.

Tiffany H — Google review

It was my first trip to a presidential library, and I have to say the whole facility and grounds were just lovely. I hope other libraries are as scenic and picturesque as this one.Side note: A majority of the photos I uploaded were from the walls of the men's room. I thought they were cool.

Eric B — Google review

I came to charge my car at this museum and discovered a gem! We only visited the outdoor portion of the museum but there was plenty to see. We were most interested by the diversity of the trees and as you can see took some pics of the ones we've never seen before. Very cool place and we'll definitely be back in the future!

Omar A — Google review

Visited this place over 20+ years ago. Stopped today coming back from the lake to show my friend how cool it is. Arrived late, so didn't have time for a tour. But just the outside of the Library and Residence are marvel's to look at. There are nicely paved paths which lead to the gravesite, of which there are many marked trees and some interesting ones. Spiegal Grove is awesome location and property.

Brian D — Google review

Beautiful park and library. It’s the home of President Hayes with a nice large park and just grave. Seeing his grave and walking the park is no charge. If you want to go into the library or take a tour of the house, there is a fee

David F — Google review

This was one of the better Presidential homes I have been too. They gave you a very insightful tour of the house and family. The museum was really neat. I love learning about our countries history. Check this place out of you can.

Tina A — Google review

Good museum displaying the life of Rutherford and Lucy Hayes’ lives. Spiegel Grove and the grounds are beautiful and a great place to take in the nature.

Wyatt T — Google review

A nice and historical experience. It is the first Presidential Library in the USA and it didn't disappoint with the wealth of history. Would have loved to read more about the 'servants' and or enslaved peoples experiences of the time.

Ekeba I — Google review

The house and museum are state owned, and not a part of the National Park service. As such, if you have a NPS pass, it will not be accepted. Not a knock on them, just a bit of information to pass along. The museum is well laid out, but to view things chronologically, I would recommend starting downstairs, the covering the upper part. The house is absolutely beautiful. 20,000+ Sq. Ft. and some the best Bierstadt artwork you could possibly see. The park itself is about 25 acres in size, and comprises a fraction of the original land holdings. Rutherford and Lucy's markers are on the grounds, but I did not have time to get pictures of those, unfortunately. All-in-all, a good way to spend part of a day, and plenty of room for a pic-nic to boot!

Matt S — Google review

This is a great place to visit for anyone in the area, or passing through. The sheer amount of preserved historical items is astonishing. The museum is very well put together. Our tour guide for the residence was very informative, friendly, and kept the tour entertaining. For guests with disabilities, they even restored the elevator so you can see the second floor of the house.

John V — Google review

We did not have time to tour the mansion or library but stopped to walk the grounds and see the grave site. Amazing grounds to walk around searching for squirrel doors. Very relaxing and the home from the outside is amazing. You can walk the grounds and see the graves with no admission necessary.

Matt M — Google review

Excellent museum highlighting a unique president’s life and accomplishments. Home and estate are beautiful. Don’t miss it if you are in the area.

What an enjoyable day at the presidential library/museum! The house tour was outstanding! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing with those in attendance. The museum was also very interesting. I learned a lot about RBH and the era during which he was president.

Jan V — Google review

There is much to learn about this Ohio president, and this is the place to do it. There is a well curated museum and a fascinating house tour. What's more, the grounds are beautiful.

Judy G — Google review

We have visited all of the US Presidential Libraries and the museum portion was good. However, the Hayes house was very good. Our docent, Sarah, was super! She had a great personality and really knew the details about the house and the people who had lived in it. A few visitors asked questions that Sarah didn't know the answer but she had a tablet that she accessed quickly and supplied the answer. The grounds that surrounds the museum and house are absolutely beautiful and worth the time to walk around them. We spent about an hour and a half to visit the museum, the house tour was about an hour, and to walk around the grounds took about 45 minutes. In our opinion, it's a worth while visit.

Today has been busy, but in a good way 😌I brought Remi along to my doctor's appointment a few towns away.I had to stop by Bailiwicks Coffee Company in Tiffin and get a hot Irish Cream latte 😋 If you're in town, I recommend stopping by for an excellent coffee ☕️ Make sure you walk around inside and check out the beautiful artwork ♡ I saw the Marilyn Monroe drawing and was instantly in love.On our way back to Fremont, I stopped by Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums so Remi could walk around and explore all the smells.Even though it's March, flowers are budding and some trees as well 🌹 I think the rose garden will be beautiful this year ♡ I've loved coming here since I was a girl. Went to the Rutherford B Hayes museum and property and was awestruck. It was totally worth the visit. The mansions contents are priceless and takes you back in a time when the United States was young and vibrant. The property is beautiful. As I was guided through a tour there it was almost as if I could feel an unexplainable aura in the very air as I mentally absorbed the sights and sounds regarding this "American" family. Learned much concerning the Hayes couple and their whole lineage. Their contributions towards the success of the United States as a country is truly historic and of a legendary quality. There is much too experience here. If you have the opportunity pay the place a visit. If you enjoy United States history my guess is you will be genuinely moved.

Incredible historical estate to explore and tour.$20 per adult ($2 off for AAA members) and you get access to a guided tour of the home, self guided tour of the museum, and able to walk the grounds. You're able to walk the grounds, for free, if uninterested in museum or home. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Those who were operating the desk at the museum and giving the tours, all were very well educated on Hayes, and truly held a passion in sharing the history of our 19th President. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, 25 acres, and a mile of paved path that takes you around the outskirts of the property and back to the Presidential Tomb where Hayes, his wife, and there eldest son who was the last to live within the home and is credited for the structure of the museum are all buried. The museum houses three floors of Incredible artifacts from the families personal items, as well as random historical items collected over the years by their son, who, was a major history buff and enjoyed collecting. The home is a 31 room mansion that you'll tour by guide for about an hour getting some great insight regarding the home and family history.I spent about 4 hours to see everything.I've toured some major historical estates before - George Washington's, Robert Lee's, Eisenhower's and others. And, I can honestly say, that this estate is comparable to any of them. A truly magnificent historical gem that any one with any interest in presidential history, or history in general, most definitely should visit.A great tribute to our Nation's 19th President and well worth the visit.

Robert H — Google review

Fun to see a president home. His historical life. Great for the entire family.

Adam F — Google review

A great way to spend a few hours. The museum is modern and interesting. The house is opulent and the craftsmanship and decor is aesthetically pleasing. The grounds are stunningly beautiful and well-kept. You'll see nice landscaping and encounter friendly squirrels. The best part of this experience is the staff. The women inside of the museum (the cashier and gift shop attendant) were very nice. The historians inside of the home were dedicated and our guide took personal pride in showing off the house and giving our tour group interesting facts. It's evident that the staff really cares about this special place.

Food & Drink

Heineman Winery is a longstanding winery located on an island, offering cellar tours and tastings. The wine garden is a beautiful spot to enjoy their quality wines made from grapes grown on the island. Visitors can explore the winery's interesting history and see past and current equipment used in the winemaking process. The tour provides insight into the production of different wines and juices, making it an educational experience for all ages.

The coolest thing on the island: a geode you can walk through. AND they make fantastic wine and grape juice.

Shawn P — Google review

Don’t waste your time here. There’s plenty of other activities on the island. The only reason for 2 stars is because the crystal cave was cool and it is really nice that you don’t have to go outside to get in the cave. The actual wine is disgusting. It’s like they mixed rubbing alcohol with cheap grape juice. It’s horrendous - I don’t have any nice words to say about their products. I was so happy to see a cab franc, I even joked with my husband that we should take a case home. My husband had the dry red blend and it was just as bad. We both received our samples, each took a drink and set them down and left.If I were the owners, I’d expense a trip out to Napa and tour Orin Swift or Caymus. I think they could learn A LOT from them. If they were wanting to stay closer to home, they could always travel over to Niagara on the lake and visit Peller, Reif, and Gretzky wineries. This establishment needs SO MUCH help.

Cassandra B — Google review

We did both tours. Felt rushed and it very short. Tickets are fairly cheap so you can’t complain too much. You also receive a free sample of grape juice or wine.

Bianca M — Google review

Didn't get a photo but had a chardonnay wine slushy that was delicious!! It was 16oz. for $9.00 which is a great deal for PIB! You could also get a full bottle for $15 which is also very reasonable! Plenty of outdoor seating and the service was fast and friendly! Would definitely go back!!

Karla P — Google review

Such a fun time we had and we enjoyed our tour guide...and our wine!🍷

Joan R — Google review

Group of 7 of us went to the winery to start our weekend. We got multiple pitchers of the sangria and mimosas to share, and they were delicious. Super chill atmosphere outside.

Lauren S — Google review

We visited this winery over the weekend, definitely smaller and a quick tour less then 20 min, it was interesting but maybe because it was end of September there wasn't much going on ! Worth for a quick visit , took as approx 30 min for both the winery and the Crystal cave !

Catalina — Google review

Expectations were low - but it exceeded all of them. The sangria and mimosas rose our sprits and our blood sugar levels. The discounts at the gift shop were enticing 🤑. The rose was surprisingly enchanting. The ambiance (flowers and picnic tables) were on point. Emma rocks! But, Bring back the snake wine!

Alison K — Google review

Absolutely love the Concord Grape Juice and the Sweet Belle rosÀ table wine! Love the fact that it's local and would recommend this place and their online ordering to everyone. They make sure you're taken care of. And the taste is amazing. Fresh grape juice for breakfast is the best!!

Kasondra B — Google review

Really tasty wines and excellent wine tour! The ice wine is delicious and worth the glass - even comes with a souvenir glass!

Sasha V — Google review

The cave was the size of a small living room, it took 5 minutes to view. Not worth the entrance fee. However the winery tour was excellent. They have great wine

Jacob M — Google review

Staff very friendly and helpful. John Bat helped me both times I visited and was able to guide me to just what I wanted. He also showed me the web site to get wine when I am not at Put In Bay. Thanks!!

By foot or by golf cart, Heineman’s is easily accessible and an over all good time. Growing up I loved the great juice and after being out of Ohio for 10+ years I am now able to enjoy the winery too. Everyone was friendly and allowed for a positive tasting experience!

Alexandria R — Google review

We really enjoyed both tours and our cab at the end was delicious. Very reasonably priced too compared to some of the other touristy things we did in the area.

Megan M — Google review

Gotta get a picture in the big chair By the front entrance. Service was great 👍 and they had great selection of souvenirs , and wine Of course, the star of the show was the second sweetest wine. Can't remember the name of it and the cheese tray was really good hanging out and having wine with the girls and watching the eclipse such a great place to watch it from ! And the people are so kind and laid back had a great time ! Thank you

James R — Google review

We visited on a Monday, hoping to avoid the crowds. They were still super busy! The staff are amazing and super friendly; it's just a bit more rushed and lacks the winery charisma that we have grown to enjoy. We did tour the geod and found it unique. We did buy some cool rock chimes and a decorative wooden box at the gift shop.

Jodi R — Google review

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Heineman for many years. I recently decided to try ordering wine online and having it delivered and that was amazing. The packaging was great, it arrived quickly, and had a wonderful handwritten note that I really appreciated. This is my favorite winery and I doubt that will ever change.

Amanda C — Google review

Heineman’s Winery is a family friendly place! The tour of the Crystal Cave, the tour through their production area, and the glass of juice or wine that is included, is priced just right!

Desiraye P — Google review

Loved this place! My absolute favorite part of my trip to put in bay, gift shop had really great prices too so i was able to pick out a cute & affordable rock. I was only able to try the juice but it was fantastic! The tour of the winery was very interesting and insightful. I liked learning about the process that went into making the different wines and juices. Good prices for drinks and deals and my family said they loved the taste of the wine. Fun for all ages!

Heylea A — Google review

Decent price for we purchased with the crystal cave tour. The employee who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and funny as well. We bought 4 bottles of wine and one bottle of juice. We would go again!

Ann A — Google review

What a great attraction to visit on the Island. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of.our questions and made the tour fun. Such an interesting history to the winery. It was coll to see all of the past and current equipment used to make their product. We were surprised that the winery had 40 acres of land on the island to grow some of their grapes. The head wine maker was their, in the process of getting a new batch ready for fermentation. In the tasting room, we tried the sweetest wine, and it was delicious. We went there early in out trip, so we didn't buy full bottles to take home, since we didn't want to carry them around the rest of the day, but we will look for them online and order some that way. Awesome time!

Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial is a must-visit attraction on South Bass Island. The 352-ft.-tall column commemorates the Battle of Lake Erie and offers breathtaking views from its observation deck. Visitors can enjoy historical reenactments and lessons from park rangers, gaining insights into the War of 1812. The memorial serves as a tribute to those who fought in the battle and promotes peace among the US, UK, and Canada.

This place is really impressive. You don't really get a feel for exactly how tall this monument is, until you are standing underneath of it looking up. It was a shame that we weren't able to go up to the observation deck, as out time was short, and the line for the elevator was way too long. What an awesome view the property offers though. Truly an honorable memorial for Perry. Next time we come, we will make it a point to ride up to the top. I'm sure that the view is breathtaking

09/21/2024 - The Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial is a sight to see and a must visit. The architects were Joseph H Freelander and Alexander D Seymour Jr. from NYC, and the Doric column was built in 1913 to honor Commander Oliver Hazard Perry’s victory in the Battle of Lake Erie (nps.com, 2024). The memorial is made of stone, granite blocks, marble stone, and bronze engraving. Gulf cart parking out front. There is also parking at the Visitor Center. There is only a 10.00 fee to go up to the observation deck. I was not able to make it to the observation deck. This memorial is guarded by officials during visiting hours. Beautiful scenery driving to and through the memorial. Enjoy!

Miguel H — Google review

If you want the most fantastic view of the island, you can only go here. It has an elevator to the top to see the whole surrounding islands and area. The monument has great information in the visitor center that tells you all about the battle, history, and the people involved. It is run by park service folk that will answer any of your questions and are friendly and professional. It is also one of the taller monuments in all of the United States. It truely is a beautiful monument, view, and amazing part of history.

JOHN H — Google review

Our family recently visited Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial, and it was an amazing experience. The views from the top are stunning, offering a breathtaking panorama of Lake Erie and the surrounding islands. The historical significance of the memorial, commemorating the Battle of Lake Erie and promoting peace, made it even more meaningful. The visitor center had engaging exhibits that for both adults and kids alike. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for a family day trip!

Great memorial! Love the views you get of the different islands, Canada and Lake Erie as a whole! The park rangers were very nice and I was impressed with their knowledge of history! My only complaint is that I wish you didn’t have to reserve a date or time but that’s all! Highly recommend you stop here, it’s worth the time and money!

Mickey A — Google review

Didn't go up: I didn't buy a ticket at the visitor center some distance away. Rotonda is accessible but not the monument. 35 steps up is the elevator that takes one to the top observation deck. Must be a fantastic view, as is looking across the lake from the ground.

J. V — Google review

We didn't go inside because you need to purchase tickets at the visitor's center. Nice view of the water on either side.

Grace W — Google review

We took the Ferry to get to the island to see this monument. You have to go to the Visitor's Center to schedule a time & buy tickets to go to the top. We ran into a problem, though. The elevator quit working while we were at the top. We got stuck up there for about an hour which pushed us to get back to the Ferry in time to leave for the day. You got to know everyone while up there. Luckily it was a beautiful day to be stuck.

Molly A — Google review

Beautiful huge monument that you can see from a good distance. There is plenty of room to walk around it or sit on a wall right up against the lake.

This National historic site you must take the ferry to get to it. Ferry rsy id by car w4.00 esch way, on foot 9.00 esch way. Then take island shuttle to the momumentThe monument is very nice with an elevator to take you to the top. Cost 10.00 for an adult.

Awesome view on top of the monument. On a clear day. You can see Canada and Cedar Point. We'll worth the $10.

It’s a beautiful place . It’s clean and spacious. It Has space to sit and chill. We and go on top of the tower through the lift. We did that too. It was a good experience. However i would suggest getting the tickets for visiting the tower from the visitor center as it has a lil bit of a walk. The views were amazing from the top.

Wildlife and safari park

Zoos & Aquariums

African Safari Wildlife Park is a large park featuring a variety of African animals, including monkeys and ocelots. Visitors can take self-guided drives through the park, where they are provided with animal feed to interact with the roaming animals. The park also offers walking tours to see smaller animals, as well as opportunities to purchase additional feed. Additionally, there are shows and tours available for visitors to enjoy. It's described as a fun and spontaneous stop that offers an enjoyable experience for all ages.

I’ve been wanting to go to this place for quite some time now. We bought tickets on Groupon and decided to go. It’s end of season so some of the animals are not out, but there is a ton that are! The drive was a great experience! A little scary with the bulls horns next to the car. Feeding the animals through the car was awesome though! The walk through didn’t have too many animals out ( again, end of season ) which was totally okay because they had a dinosaur exhibit throughout the whole thing that was really cool!

Jamie L — Google review

Nice place, animals all seemed healthy and well cared for.The camel stole two cups from me 😆 and the zebras weren't impressed with anything we had to offer but that's no big deal. We had two cups of food and two cups of lettuce and it was sufficient but we definitely rationed it along the way.

Liz S — Google review

It wasn't my car so I loved it 😂. If you like animals, this is a fun place for everyone. HOLD on to your cups 😂 they will try and steal the whole cup!! Also please follow the rules!

Jessica K — Google review

Such a great day trip for a family. Lots of things to see and do. The drive through was fun, and the buffalos were kind enough to send us home with spit smears 🦬♥️. The walk through was perfect after the drive to stretch your legs and see more fun things. Camel rides, feeding bunnies and birds, learning in the pavilion, and a hog show. The gift shop was adorable and they have a snack hut with great food of you don't pack anything. Would recommend taking the family here. Your kids will cherish the memories.

Kelly G — Google review

The kids loved this experience! Ages 2 through 6 and they all really enjoyed the drive-thru portion. It was cold so we weren't able to see any animals outside. Can't wait to take them back!

Megan M — Google review

It was amazing!! Definitely a fun experience. My 2 year old was obviously a little scared but loved the birds, snake and the giraffe. Lots more but everyone 2-50 had a great day 👌🏻

Elayna B — Google review

Nice place. Dinosaur's, feeding turtles, feeding other animals while driving was good to experience. Feed birds was a great experience. Drive through is barely 45 minutes or so, can re-enter which was a nice thing to know as we lot of feed leftover. Kids had a blast!

Rama K — Google review

Place was an amazing experience will definitely come again my son loved feeding the animals

Kaitlyn R — Google review

Great experience! On the upside we had a blast, it was not crowded at all for being a Saturday, most experiences like camel rides and feeding tortoises we had zero wait time for, I definitely think the prices for the extra experiences were fair compared to other places we have been. I love that they have a lot of albino animals and babies on the property as well! On the downside, I wish we had got more information and warning upfront about what’s to come in the drive thru portion. I would have liked someone to tell me I should remove some food from the cup before offering it to an animal, the big hoss with his head through my window (pictured) pretty much held down my chest and slurped up all my feed, I’m sure you’re thinking “what did I expect” but oh well, some animals were much more aggressive (for lack of a better word) about getting their fill. I also wish the giraffe feeding was on an incline as you really can’t see anything but their mouth as they bend down to your car to eat, the feeding at the Cleveland zoo is much better as you are above them and feed down to them by hand. Lastly, I would like to see the employee who has to serve concessions/gifts out by the playground have a chair to sit in, at the time it was an older woman and we could tell her feet were hurting.

Amy C — Google review

Amazing experience with all the animals! They’re so big and close to you that it’s almost kinda scary. Everything was very safe but be careful with the food, they’ll go inside of your car if you give them the chance haha.

Ashley L — Google review

Very nice experience. There was a walking area with animals to see. They had a dinosaur exhibit, which would be a lot of fun for kids. The drive through was fun! Just don't be upset if the inside of your vehicle gets slimy or the paint gets a little scratch from the big horn steer and bison!!!

Caroline — Google review

Extremely wonderful place to be. We actually ended up staying entire day there. Both the drive through safari and the walk safari are excellent. We specifically like the bird house where we were inside the bird house with tons of budgies and peacocks. Loved the experience. Family friendly and good food in the cafe. Would definitely recommend this to everyone visiting put-in-bay or cedar point.

Akshay M — Google review

We did the drive portion and as others have mentioned, the majority of the animals are barnyard animal. Once we did get to the giraffes, there was a line to wait to see them. You get through the driving portion pretty quickly, it’s not very long. The tickets are expensive and are per person which can add up if you have a car full. They do offer discounted tickets if you’re a member of any zoo which helped bring our total down from 92 to 46. We paid for two adults and a child. Plus you have to factor in the cost of the feed which is another $15.

Sarah R — Google review

We had a great time visiting this place. They have a walk through and a drive thru area. They have a lot of hands on things to do.My kids really enjoyed feeding the turtles and riding the camel. We also had a chance to hold a snake and touch it.They had a food station which we did not try but it really looked amazing and very tempting. They have a lot of gift areas too for souvenirs and such.Tickets are kind of expensive but we really had a good time. We did the drive thru last and that was a good idea. Its comes with 1 free cup of food to feed the animals but you can buy more if you want. They have a ton of animals wandering around and going right up to your car.The best part was stopping to feed the giraffes and watching them come down to eat.

Moe J — Google review

African Wildlife Safari is an absolute gem! I think most people think of the drive thru portion only but the park is great! I highly recommend the feeding add on. My little one was able to feed budgies, giraffes, porcupines, bunnies, and tortoises. The park is very clean with fun, interactive dinosaurs. There are many animals to see including the gibbons, black swan, and white alligator. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, extremely well run and the animals appear well taken care of!

Marissa M — Google review

This is hands down one of the best activities I've seen for a family to spend a day. It is educational, interactive, and fun for everyone. The variety of animals and habitat examples are better than many other drive-thru zoo options, and the cost is reasonable for admission and add-ons.

Anthony ( — Google review

Admission gets you into the drive through Safari part and the walk through part where the smaller animals and animatronic dinosaurs are. You get a cup of feed with your admission price. Make sure you hold the feed outside your car window to feed the animals. Otherwise, they will lean as far in your vehicle as they can. Some of the cattle and deer have big horns which can scrape your car. There are animal encounters, too: capybaras, turtles and camel rides. It was a fun day even without kiddos.

Elizabeth D — Google review

Very kid friendly. My kids loved this place. You can walk around to see the animals and feed them. They have a Dinosaur exhibit you can walk thru and see. The drive thru Safari was fun. But you will go thru the food cups fast it’s best to get extra cups of food so you can feed the animals throughout the whole safari.

Margo H — Google review

We had a great experience. The animals seem well cared for, the employees are really friendly. The drive thru experience was allot of fun-take towels and baby wipes to clean yourself up because the animals are slobbery. We enjoyed going and it was worth the money. Not for anyone who's afraid of animals though, since you get very up close to them.

Snowy S — Google review

We absolutely love this place and have been driving an hour and a half for years to keep coming back. The animals live to stick their heads right in your car to get food. Hold onto your cup though!!There is also a walking safari with a bunch of other animals. They have really made this into a full entertainment center.

Christine C — Google review

This was a lot of fun to do. We did both walk & drive thru. Walk thru is extremely easy for strollers/wheelchairs. Great for all ages to enjoy

Had such an amazing time here for my birthday with my friends. Everything was perfect and one of the girls who worked at the pig races gave me a birthday ice cream and that was extremely nice of her 🥰 it really personalized my experience. The guy running the ice cream shop was very happy and nice, and the guy capybara handler was very knowledgeable and helpful. 🥰 thankyou so much

Lys M — Google review

Amazing! I haven't laughed this hard in a while. Buffalo, Scottish cows, emus, and more nearly got in our car (yes, you could roll your windows up a bit, but we went all in, lol). I think all ages will enjoy the drive through experience, but buy more cups than you think you will need because you'll run out before you get to the end. The walkthrough Safari might be more appropriate for kids under 10 or 11. You can buy an additional pass that lets you feed the porcupines, giraffes, tortoises, and more inside the park. All in all, I think we enjoyed this more than cedar point and it was significantly less expensive and filled the whole day.

D. M — Google review

This was sooo much fun! It’s reasonably priced and our kids who are 2 and 10 loved it…it’s a rally great interactive animal acitivity! See the photos!!

Seneca Caverns

Nature & Parks

Caverns & Caves

Natural landmark featuring guided tours of underground caverns, gem mining & a picnic area.

This was a fascinating experience. I signed up online the day before, and I chose the ticket that included the gemstones for the kids. The tour began above land to 80 feet below. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the caves, the fossils, even the inscriptions that go back to the 1800's.It was very cold down there, and lots of small openings that I imagine would be difficult for later individuals. An elderly couple however didn't seem to have much trouble.Afterwards the kids enjoyed sifting through the gemstones and washing them off.Definitely recommend as an educational outing!!

HZ A — Google review

Loved this! Was a fun little adventurous trip. I really recommend checking it out. I definitely suggest getting a mining bag in the gift shop. You get all kinds of beautiful rocks and gems and other neat things. The crystals in the shop are also very reasonably priced compared to other places I've been.

Very cool tour, Maddie was a terrific guide, very informative..it does have some tight spots to walk, so it's not for everyone..a cool 54 degrees when you are in there, bring a light jacket

Eddie M — Google review

Awesome tour, great story and beautiful nature. Well worth the trip & effort to get here. Well done to the staff & ownership of Seneca Caverns. KUDOS!

Jim H — Google review

Quite the expierence! Make sure you bring something warm even on a hot day the cave will be quite cold. Very unique and scenic. Invest in the shop "sift your own treasure" its a blast and kid friendly. Bring home some fossils and fancy rocks 🪨. A bit on the pricey side

Dylan M — Google review

Full disclosure, we did not go into the cave. But for a roadside attraction, it is quite cool. It is a guided tour of the caves, takes about an hour. We didn't have the time, so we skipped it, but it looked cool. The gift shop was surprisingly reasonably priced and had all kinds of goodies.

Arthur H — Google review

Loved it. It is cold down there no matter the temperature outside. Take a sweater or jacket. Caution there is a lot of steps, slopes, low rock spots, and watery slip spots. So be careful all. especially to elderly or young kids. Our youngest was 12 when we went and I had to walk behind her to make sure she could reach everything correctly. I do believe they have height requirement or warnings for young children at least. Only reason I say caution is we had an elderly woman that sat at the halfway mark until we got back. Our tour guide was very informative and if we had questions they knew the answers. Definitely not for someone that's claustrophobic. I don't like heights but just as long as I'm not looking down very far I can withstand it. They had an amazing gift shop as well.

Ashley K — Google review

What a natural wonder! Five levels of cave exploring. Guided tours take about an hour. This is not for the faint of heart. The caves are rich in ancient and recent history. This is well worth the trip. I loved the Mystery River and the mini stalagtites. My grandkids loved this adventure. I recommend no purses or bags as there is a lot of bent-over walking. Also, I recommend some hand wipes for afterward. You have to use the rocks to assist the hike and they are wet and slimey.

Cathy M — Google review

Only fracture style cave system open to the public in North America. Really fun! Just challenging enough to serve as a nice adventure for the family. Highly recommend if you’re in the area to stop by and enjoy a little spelunking !

Jason N — Google review

We got all the way to level 7 and saw the crystal clear water! Our guide, Lucas, was very informative and answered lots of questions! There is a lot of walking & there are very small spaces to climb through in some parts of the cave. Not recommend for claustrophobics! Remember, you get out the way you came in, only uphill!! It is a once in a lifetime experience to see what's under the earth in our Ohio 'backyard '

Gigi M — Google review

Very cool tour. We purchased tickets in advance but were able to join an earlier tour that had openings. It’s definitely tight spaces and rocky terrain - great adventure for most people! Wouldn’t recommend for very small children or elderly / those who struggle with balance.

Stephanie K — Google review

Went here in elementary school and took my family back (husband and an 8 year old and 9 year old). We had a freaking blast! Malaina was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. They took their time with the tour, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The kid prices were spot on ($11). Adult prices were a bit much ($23). We spent $68 for the family, but we got to go down 110 feet underground. Worth it. Gift shop is very cool and the staff was very nice.

Erica B — Google review

Great local spot. This place is sweet it's not like your ordinary run of the mill tourist attraction. You get to go up and down a lot of natural stairs. A little effort is definitely needed. This has to be a must stop.

M_E_T_ 5 — Google review

Our family had a wonderful time here! Ages ranging from 9 years old to 35 years old and we all made it! There are some pretty steep, slippery, and tight spaces to get through, but it is worth it! I highly recommend doing the tour! Our guide Josh was super informative and funny too! The gift shop had beautiful items priced very fairly. The staff was super friendly too! There is also a place to mine your own bag of dirt to find the treasures you got inside! I would do it again in the future because I enjoyed it so much! Must go see!!!

Amber H — Google review

Great cave to explore!! The ladies in the gift shop were super nice and the tour guide was awesome! When you pull in, it doesn't look like much, but it is totally worth it!!

Linda F — Google review

Definitely worth the money. It's a bit physical and claustrophobic so be warned. The tour guide seemed a bit rehearsed but, it gave enough breaks to have some people catch their breath.Yours start at the top of hour

Timothy D — Google review

Wow, this place was truly amazing. The tour guide was stellar. She handled my cranky and scared four year-old like a pro and made the tour both interesting and exciting for the adults and the child. I would come back here any day to take another tour plus the caves are so interesting.

Nina Y — Google review

What an amazing adventure. We took a 1 hour tour 100+ feet underground and the children mined for gems. Our tour guide Grey was knowledgeable, friendly and great with my children. If you want a cool experience check it out. $20/Adults $15/children (that includes the mining) it is reasonably priced.

Precious C — Google review

It’s definitely not for old people like me most intense cave I ever been in. Grandkids had fun .

Old S — Google review

We came here to go check out the caves, but what really stuck out to us the most was the gift shop and the experience we had with a lovely lady who was so good with our kiddos. She helped us with our bag of rocks/gems and took a family picture for us. She took our youngest on a tour of the gift shop and listened to his stories of his trip through the cave. I didn't get her name sadly, but she made our experience one to remember! So, thank you very much for that.As for the cave tour make sure you wear comfortable shoes/clothes. It's a hike! We are hopeful to be back again, but if you're in the area it's definitely a must see. The gift shop is very reasonably priced and there's something for everyone!!

Amusement park

Water & Amusement Parks

Cedar Point is a mammoth amusement park with plenty of thrilling rides for visitors of all ages. With 17 roller coasters, it's one of the world's most popular destinations for thrill seekers.

Great price with the Summer season pass ($100). I was in town for a week and opted for this option. Parking was included.Great assortment of ride for all ages and the park was not too busy during the week mid June.I’m from FL and have been to all the parks in Orlando/Tampa. It is nice to have fewer people than at Disney plus this park is great for coasters!Food options are good but the price is what you would expect. If you plan on 10am-10pm day I would do the meal pass.

Ryan S — Google review

Cedar Point is often hailed as the "holy land" of amusement parks, and after our visit, it's easy to see why. With the most roller coasters of any park, thrill-seekers are in for a treat, and the park’s location along Lake Erie adds a stunning backdrop to the adrenaline-pumping rides. The views are spectacular, and it's hard to beat the mix of coaster excitement with lake scenery. We visited over Labor Day weekend, and arriving Friday afternoon was a smart move—it wasn't too crowded, so we got to enjoy several rides without long waits. However, the rest of the weekend was packed, and we only managed to get on a few more rides. If you're planning a trip during a busy weekend, I highly recommend getting there early in the weekend to take advantage of lighter crowds. The roller coasters themselves are fantastic, but we were pretty disappointed that their newest coaster, which we were looking forward to, wasn’t open yet. After driving seven hours, we were hoping to experience it, so that was a bit of a letdown.Food-wise, Cedar Point offers a good variety. While it’s solid overall, I’d rank it behind Universal, Disney, and Kings Dominion when it comes to theme park dining. Still, you won’t go hungry here, and there are some tasty options. The staff was always friendly, and the park was consistently clean, adding to the experience. One regret from our trip is not taking advantage of the exit that leads to the beach on Lake Erie. It looked like a fun way to take a break from the rides, and I’ll definitely try to fit that in on our next visit.Overall, Cedar Point lives up to its reputation with world-class coasters, great views, and a fun atmosphere. Just make sure to plan around the crowds if you're going on a holiday weekend!

Mary C — Google review

Unfortunately the Top Thrill 2 coaster was not operational on this day but it was still a great time! Nice change from my home rides at Universal, Sea World and Disney World. The lines weren't long; however, the Maverick was constantly breaking down then reopening. That was very frustrating so after waiting in line for an hr hoping it would start, I gave up trying to ride it. The views of Lake Erie were spectacular!

Maria W — Google review

Cedar Point is an absolutely beautiful place for a family getaway. The park is filled with stunning attractions that leave you in awe just by looking at them, and once you’re on the rides, the experience is beyond thrilling. The roller coasters are some of the best in the world, and the excitement they offer is indescribable. It’s an adrenaline rush like no other, perfect for those who love a good thrill. The park is also well-maintained and family-friendly, with plenty of options for all ages. We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to come back!

Dmitriy R — Google review

We got a hotel on Sunday and spent Monday in the park. It was my two youngest sons first trip and they haven't stopped talking about it all week. Hour early access to the park and short lines made this a trip to remember. Top thrill 2 was intense and I love coasters so the fact that it was the longest wait of the day was quickly overshadowed by the adrenaline. If you can swing it you gotta get the fast pass, you won't be disappointed.

Hiccup O — Google review

This was my first time in cedar point and it was a blast. My favorite area of cedar point was hands down the water park. Rode a decent amount of rides and the food was pricey but good. Some of the rides were way too big for me but for somebody that loves huge amusement rides, this is the place for them!

Jacob J — Google review

I hadn't been to Cedar Point in 6 years. Lots of new, updated rides!! The park was clean and surprisingly not crowded. Zero wait for any of the womens restrooms. There was nostalgic 90's music playing throughout the whole park all day. The employees were all friendly. The temperature was high 60's but a little chilly because of the wind off the lake. Several rides were closed for the day because it was windy. We got tickets online ahead of time with meal passes and saved a ton!Overall, I highly recommend. Minimal wait times for everything. Upbeat vibes. Very fun crowd.

Krissy S — Google review

We were really excited to check both the amusement and the water park. Both were a lot of fun, even if quite a few rides still weren't open.Good signage, maps and assistance from park employees. The biggest thing we were trying to figure out ahead of time, and again while at the park, was how to do both parks in one day since that was all we had.I feel that the website could be clearer as to how to do both parks in one day if that's all you have. They have bundle tickets for each park separately, but not to do both parks, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense for people who don't live here.We did get a pass that invoice included parking and food every 90 minutes. But all of the food is just standard meat and wheat. So if you can't eat gluten and are a vegetarian or vegan, good luck. As expensive as the food is here (like most amusement parks) giving some vegan/gluten free options would be extremely helpful for those of us that don't eat the SAD diet. The water park does not have any towels on site either. Which I also couldn't find on their website. So make sure to bring your own or you're out of luck.Overall, we had a good time and my kids were happy with the adventure. It just wasn't something I'd care to do again.

Just loved the staff, very helpful and friendly. Just loved the food, the different attractions, and the rides were amazing. A very fun adventurous day. Also, I had so much fun, that I did not realize all the good walking exercise, that I accomplished. Thank you, Cedar Point! All smiles 😃.

I’ve had an opportunity to experience similar parks scattered through the US, EU, & Asia and I must say I was certainly surprised as my expectations were exceeded. One thing that stood out was the high energy level & sincere appreciation reflected by most staff. My only recent comparison is from Disney & Universal, where the seemed more matter of fact & Cedar point staffers seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Either I drank some magic potion or had a bias. This place has literally been in my backyard (2 hours away) for 12 years and I’ve not given it an opportunity thinking it was just a hyped up carnival…oh was I wrong. I believe their niche is thrill rides. Most of the park consisted of high speed roller coasters, yet it still had a great mixture of smaller shows, water rides, a rides geared toward the smaller crowd (Peanut’s Snoopy area) which is great if your family has young & younger. The cleanliness level was superior! Ride lines were much more endurable vs. Disney or Universal (on average 20-30 minutes). In terms of value, a season’s pass is less than the cost of a daily ticket in Orlando. Food selection was better than average & less than you’d pay at a major sports venue. Thanks for reading my stream of conscious jabber. In short both my 8 year old son and I give this place two thumbs up! Lastly, there are more things and places to go nearby for the family…think a scaled down Pidgeon Forge.

Cedar Point is the benchmark all other parks should be measured.Excellent execution all around.Staffing at each ride means faster cycles and happier guests. The drink stations are clean and organized with a lot of locations.Multiple kid areas with rides tailored for specific age groups.Top of the line roller coaster selection. Please implement the Cedar Point execution at all the Six Flags parks!

Cedar Point was a great experience. We took the VIP Tour with a fantastic tour guide. The rides were really enjoyable and the staff were friendly. Clean bathrooms.I would recommend the meal plan, great food options on it. Drinks included is worth it as well. If you're going for multiple days get parking included in your tickets! It's worth it.I wish there were fans, misters, or shade in the line queue because it was very warm.Drinks aren't too expensive if you go to the right places. The biggest reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the rides wouldn't stop going down. We missed a couple of coasters because they were always down. All around a great trip though!

Kathryn N — Google review

For the thrill it's pretty awesome and they have plenty of places to shop and/or eat. My family stayed in one of their wheelchair accessible deluxe cabins but they weren't all that comfortable. For my little brother (the one that needed the wheelchair accessible portion) it was more than comfortable enough. I recommend you bring your own blankets if you sleep in any of their cabins since the ones they provide are thin and scratchy (but I guess that encourages you to buy a blanket and sweatshirt in the park). Everything was extremely expensive (as you would expect from a highly successful amusement park), but anything we bought was of decently good quality. Their Snoopy merchandise was also really cute. We went during the first weekend it was opened for the year. The Top Thrill 2 was only going for 1 day before they shut it down to make it more safe/comfortable (which was kind of a bummer because it messed with our coaster plans). If you are close enough to make this a one day trip, I would, but you'll be pretty tired at the end of the day, so plan accordingly. One thing that I noticed as did someone who works there talked to us about, it's not very accessible to those in wheelchairs (I'm not talking about the rides here). Most stores/food places don't have automatic buttons to open the doors and it would be a little difficult for wheelchairs to get through some doorways due to a little bump in the entrance. There should also be an additional area or two for those who are disabled and/or have mobility issues to just rest (away from the loud speakers and scorching sun). If they can make some changes to make the park more accessible and inclusive (without raising prices a ridiculous amount), I could see myself giving more stars.

Alas, I had an exceedingly magnificent and tremendously gratifying time at Cedar Point. The queues were remarkably concise, the staff members exuded warmth and affability, and I must say, overall, it was a truly commendable second visit and left a lasting positive impression. The exhilarating roller coasters, delectable food options, and vibrant atmosphere truly made for an unforgettable and immensely pleasurable experience. I can hardly wait to visit again in the future! The excitement and joy that permeated the air from the moment I stepped into the park until the moment I departed was simply fantastic. Every ride I went on was an absolute thrill, and the food I indulged in was nothing short of delightful. Cedar Point unequivocally knows how to create an incredible and enjoyable atmosphere for visitors, and I am already eagerly anticipating my next visit to this amazing amusement park.

Absolutely amazing experience! Best theme park trip I've had! It was impressively clean, well maintained, and all of the employees were dedicated to safety and their checklists. They were all helpful and pleasant, and fast! The weather was amazing, and the crowds were not bad at all. The well placed and thoughtful arrangement of the park in regards to seating and shade is second to none! 10/10!!

Have a really great day today. This was our first time going and the park was very clean and the right operators were definitely keeping the lines moving. The handicap elevator at Gemini was closed and so my husband had to walk up about 12 steps to get to the platform. However, everybody else was super nice when dealing with the accessibility passes. There are two or three different types of accessibility passes and they were pretty confusing to us, but it seemed like each ride handled them differently. I also had a disability pass and on some rides I didn't have as well of an experience as my husband did. I think it was because we had the two different colored disability sheets.Steel vengeance at night is amazing!! Highly recommend. The daily meal deal where you eat every 90 minutes was amazing for our party of five. We had a wonderful time today!

I had an exhilarating time at Cedar Point Amusement Park! This park truly lives up to its reputation as the "Roller Coaster Capital of the World." The variety of rides is impressive, with something for every thrill-seeker. From the heart-pounding twists of Steel Vengeance to the high-speed drops of Millennium Force, each coaster offers a unique and unforgettable experience. The park itself is well-maintained, with friendly staff and plenty of amenities. If you're a fan of roller coasters or just looking for a fun day out, Cedar Point is a must-visit destination!

Cedar Point is the awesome spot for thrill rides. The coasters are insane, and there’s something for everyone, adrenaline junkies and families. The views of Lake Erie are amazing, and the atmosphere is always fun. It's definitely worth the trip for a day of adrenaline! (All though I did get stuck at the top on Steel Vengeance)

I was very impressed by the size of the park and the number and size of roller-coasters. A great park for teens but not as much for small kids.I do have one complaint, I wish they still had paper maps of the park for us older visitors that really Don't want to learn or choose to use our phone like that. Paper maps do a much better job of giving you a full picture of the park and makes the best souvenir. We ended up wondering around and becoming familiar with most of the park but did discover near the end of the day a part we had not found yet.

I love this hotel. Everything about it was perfect for me and my family. The water park was spectacular. There was all kinds of stuff to do to keep our kids busy through the day. Very pleasant experience. Treated like royalty food was exceptional. Luxurious breakfast every morning would recommend to anyone

Terry S — Google review

We loved the overall experience but several slides were closed due to staffing. The batteries were dead in the remote, paint was flaking off the bottom of the bathtub, and there are limited food options onsite. They offer bowling, golf, and the arcade. The castaway craft room is wonderful, and the interactive experience with the characters was nice. The hotel room has a great view over the water but one of the nights I could easily hear the trains throughout the night. Staff are friendly and helpful.

N S — Google review

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Cedar Point with our family of 7. I doubt we will stay here again. There were several slides closed in the waterpark. When I asked about them opening, I was told that one had maintenance issues and the others were due to lower staffing. I asked if they rotated to open them and was told no because they were less popular. Since I can't do closed in slides, I was not able to ride a single slide. Very disappointing. The hot tub was also not quite hot. They said it was about 99° and the other water was 85°. I also remember reading on the website that the air temp was 82°, but they had the outside door propped open and it was 60-something degrees outside so that was not the case. It's also disappointing that it has the same hours as Cedar Point so you can't come back and relax in the hot [warm] tub or anything. The beds were super small, which might have been tolerable if they were more comfortable. They were saggy and not supportive at all, which made sleeping 2 very difficult. The walls were so thin that I could hear a child's music box in the next room. Our bathroom door made a very loud noise every time we used it. We asked the front desk to have someone look at it after the first night, but it was not any better the second night. So anytime someone got up to use the bathroom, the loud sound woke the reat of us up. After 2 nights of poor sleep, I was happy to move onto a new hotel in our road trip! There were some activities offered, which were good for kids especially. The karaoke only offered 16 songs, which was disappointing but was otherwise a good time. The characters came out pretty frequently to interact with the kids, including an evening dance party. The hotel was relatively clean. The a/c worked well. The shower was hot and had decent water pressure (but no functioning exhaust fan).

Horrific Experience at Castaway Bay – Health Standards Not Met!We go to Sandusky every year to visit Cedar Point, and typically stay at one of their affiliated hotels for the early park entry. This year, we made the unfortunate decision to stay at Castaway Bay, and I regret it deeply.Upon waking up Saturday morning, we found multiple cockroaches in our bathroom. Yes, COCKROACHES. We immediately notified the front desk, dumped out all of our bags to check for any unwanted guests, packed up, and left the room. What followed was an incredibly frustrating 30-minute ordeal at the front desk, where we were treated with disrespect by the staff. They moved us to a different room but offered no real solution and a measly $45 off a $300/night stay. Not only did we lose time dealing with this mess, but we also missed our early entry to Cedar Point, which was the entire reason we booked with a Cedar Point hotel in the first place. This hotel has serious issues with cleanliness and customer service. If you value your health and want a pleasant experience, I strongly urge you to stay anywhere else. We will never return to Castaway Bay and hope others don’t make the same mistake.

Nael S — Google review

Needs work still. The rooms were not soundproof at all. I could hear doors slamming throughout our stay. The room was not very clean. Mascara on the towels, the shower did not drain on it's own and the drain needed to be held up. The pull out couch sheets were dirty and not changed from the previous use as there were crumbs and visible dirt on the sheets. The floor was sticky. In the hallway, some of the drop ceiling tiles had visible, moldy water stains. Half of the attractions in the Waterpark were closed. The Slide coaster, the slides in the Hangout play area, the pool were all closed due to either lack of staffing or lack of occupancy to keep it open. The hot tub water was low and the jets outside were really loud that it took away from the relaxing experience.I understand there are renovations, but I'm having a hard time justifying the lack of cleanliness in the rooms and half of the attractions being shut down during our stay.

A very cool hotel with lots to do. Besides the room issues we had this place was awesome and great for kids. Mini golf was super fun and nice arcade. We had a huge claw machine haul. Lots of food and drink options. Their breakfast is some of the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. The waffles are AMAZING! The indoor water park was super fun, little sad that all the slides weren't open, other than that it was a good water park. The water coaster was super fun! The attached restaurant "Quaker Steak & Lube" was beyond a Tasty Treat. Our only bad experience with this places was that we booked the king bed suit way in advance like months... On the way there they called and stated they couldn't put us in said room and asked if we would be able to switch to a standard queen bed room. We agreed seeing how we had less people going at that point we figured it would work. Upon arrival and getting room. There was multiple issues with the room... It smelt like mildew and mold strongly! The fridge was leaking all over the floor. So they switched us to another queen bed room. That room was good thank god. So just make sure your room is good. Other than that we had an amazing stay and will return. Staff was very helpful and figured it all out.

Overall, we had a good experience. Family of 4 with a 3&5 year old. It's not top of the line and prices reflect that. The prices also reflect convenience. We purchased a family fun package type deal. We also got ice cream, while it was convenient, for 4 cones it was $25. Upon checking in, our room wasn't ready until 530. That was a little inconvenient. While we waited for our room we did our included bowling putt putt and arcade. We went into the waterpark until about 830. Got showers and ordered our included pizza and cheesy garlic bread. They said it would be 20 minutes, it took 55. They apologized and gave us a free brownie since we waited so long, without asking for anything. We took advantage of some of the activities, the steel drums and kids bedtime dance party. The room was perfect for our one night stay. Our fridge and microwave worked. I liked no carpet. It's a waterpark after all. The air temperature was chilly but the water itself wasn't too bad. Overall, my kids had a lot of fun. We'd consider coming back.

We had a great time! Our room was very clean and comfortable. It had an odd odor that kind of smelled like a gas leak. But, I'm sure that's not what it was. Staff were nice. There's lots to do. The water slides were staggered, so they weren't open at the same time. The outdoor slides weren't open at all. We saw vomit on the ground in the water park. We told someone, but I don't think it was cleaned up. At least I never saw anyone cleaning it up. It's connected to Quaker Steak and Lube, which is nice.

We stayed there for 3 days 2 nights. Beds were very hard, kids running the hallways stomping and yelling until 11 pm, everything inside the hotel was extremely pricey. $5.50 for a vending machine pop! Food and activities were outrageous. The breakfast buffet however is worth every penny!! Delicious! House keeping never visited our room. The water park was however was great! Very attentive lifeguards, fun for all ages, waterslides and pools were rotated as to which ones were operating at the time. Slow season so we didn't worry much as there weren't a lot of people. Ease to cedar point and package they offered that included tickets was great.

This resort was okay. it looks older. The rooms could use a refresh. The indoor water park is okay also, but if you are going to visit Cedar Point Shores, not really worth staying at this resort just for the water park as the hours of operation as similar to the park. On the plus side, the staff were extremely friendly and very quick when you ask for things to be brought to your room (extra towels, pillows, etc...). In the end, we didn't really spend much time at the resort hotel, we spent it at the parks and had a great time.

Compared to Kalahari Ohio:Positives- Better price point & bigger rooms.Negative- Smaller water park, no lazy river, minimal food options.Compared to Splash Universe Dundee:Positives- The water park seems bigger, Similar price point & close to cedar point.Negatives- There are no Tube slides or lazy river.

Everything was very nice and a GREAT place for kids but being a coffee drinker, coffee was not accessible on site 24 hrs. Coffee was available during buffet hours or I had to buy coffee at the Starbucks on site when they were open or go off property during the off hours. No coffee pots in the room since Starbucks went in.The staff did let my mother fish off their pier which was wonderful since things didn't go as planned on her end in regards to a fishing trip.Worked out in the end for all of us and a memory we will not forget.

Ok, so me me, my wife, and two kids age's 11 and 7. We went for my oldest sons birthday. The water park is great, unlike great wolf lodge, where you have to fight for a seat to put your stuff on, its really easy to get a seat to put your stuff on. The slides are in a mix of kid friendly and very thrilling. The water park has a great wave pool, hot tub is great, and many more things great about the waterpark. The rooms are tiny but use the space pretty well. Also one tip if your on the north side of the hotel take stairs, it takes 3 minutes to wait for an elevator. The kids club is pretty good. And the location is perfect. Just only 2 minutes from Cedar Point is great. Anyways i highly recommend staying here, especially if you have kids. Amazing resort.

The indoor waterpark is pleasant, the rooms reasonably pleasant and sized, and the staff quite nice. Their buffet breakfast was generous and filling. We had it and didn't need to eat again until dinner. Slept decently, too. If you are planning to visit Cedar Point's roller coasters, staying at the park hotel will get you in an hour earlier. When you get too hot outside, you can cool off in the wave pool. Sore? Soak in the heated pools of the grotto. You will like it if you like waterparks.

Castaway Bay is an amazing place. Definitely come check it out. Bring the family and enjoy the awesome water park and game room. The staff is very friendly and helpful, a very nice experience. Thank you Castaway for the amazing stay.

Took my kids and they absolutely loved it. They had lots of activities planned throughout the day fit kids ranging 3 to 9 years. Water park was relaxing. Only issue was the cleaning crews response to an issue but nothing to really wane the experience.

This was our first time here and we had a blast. We stayed in the two double bed room that accommodated two adults and one child just fine. The atmosphere there is super cool and very fun for kids and adults alike. The water park inside isn’t super huge, but a good enough size to keep you entertained the entirety of one’s stay. The staff for the most part are nice and friendly. The only “bad” experience I had was in their internal Starbucks where they overcharged me on coffee. When I asked about it, he looked at the receipt then back at the price board, then back at me and said, “oh those prices are wrong”, but then when my wife went for the same coffee order the next day, all of sudden the prices in the board were correct. I didn’t make a thing about it since it wasn’t really worth the $3 they overcharged me, but a good idea to keep an eye on what they charge vs what’s on the price board.I would also recommend you avoid the Quaker Lube restaurant adjacent to the hotel. The food there is horrible and overpriced. Plenty of other nice local restaurants in the area that are worth checking out, mainly Dianna's Deli & Restaurant that’s about a 5 minute drive from the hotel.

Such a disappointment. Had to wash my hair in the bathroom sink. Three of us tried to turn the shower on and were unsuccessful. We were told “sorry you couldn’t figure it out” you simply need to pull on it. Well, you don’t simply need to pull on it. We pulled on it until we thought it would break and stopped. The “supervisor” who never came to the front desk but did eventually return my call several hours later made me feel as if I was just an idiot who couldn’t figure it out and was very rude. He had a “too bad for you” attitude. When I had mentioned that he had put us in a room right next to the elevator on a floor full of teenagers from a bus that were super loud at all hours his comment was “we are a hotel for kids”. He basically hung up on me. He could have given me a $1.00 refund and I would have been happy but his rude attitude was unacceptable. This is your “supervisor”? I would like to suggest maybe a shuttle to the park as well.

This is my third time visiting on vacation for my yearly family trip. My past experiences have been great, but this year has been a bit disappointing. When I first arrived, we were very excited to visit again but when we first walked into our room we saw a puddle on the floor because the fridge was leaking. We called the front desk and we let them know the issue and told us they would send up maintenance but none arrived so we had to go out and find a maintenance guy who fixed it for us. Last year the indoor water park was open until 10 pm which is amazing. This year however we were out on the patio at 7 for an hour looking forward to go into the water park at 8. We go to the water park at 8 pm in our swim suits just to see it all locked up and a sign saying its now closed at 8 so we were really disappointed since theirs not much to do past 8 at this hotel unless you want to pay for separate attractions. Then we head downstairs to the sprinkle shack (Ice cream place at hotel) because we love there soft serve ice cream. We wait a few minutes because theirs no one working there because its connected to a Starbucks which had one worker not paying attention to sprinkle shack. About 5 minutes past and she came to our service. We ask for 2 soft serve ice cream bowls, she was very nice but let us know that the soft serve machine was broken and down for the entirety of our stay. Now were getting mad because nothing is going our way with this hotel today. It is now the second day of our trip and we had an amazing day at Cedar Point. We came home after a long day at the park wanting to relax at the water park for the night but as we get there, we see that half the attractions are closed including the hot tub, 3 body slides, and 2 other slides. We were especially bummed out about the hot tub because we love to relax there every night. We go ask the lifeguards about it and they say they are understaffed BUT we look around and see lifeguards just standing around at the bottom doing nothing. We are only on day 2 and if things do not start shaping up we will not be staying here again.

We chose castaway bay for a 3 night stay as a part of our extended family vacation as we have kids from 6months to 13 years old. The atmosphere was perfect for the large range for all the kids to have fun. However, there were a few issues. First, it took our family 3 days to get fresh towels, we finally got them the night before our departure, 4 towels for 5 people. we could not get an extra pillow at all as they said did not have any. My in laws requested their room be tidied all 3 nights and that never happened and we found the staff to be a little rude. The day we planned to hit the water park for most of the day, 5 of the water slides were down, the regular pool and the attraction where to cross the floating devices with a rope were all closed. We spent 2 hours until we had to go find something else to occupy us. It was a cute, clean resort but we unfortunately will not return or recommend.

Now my food was great! I will admit that the buffalo chicken on my Mac could have been seasoned a bit more but overall chef's kiss! Our waitress, Vicky was absolutely a doll! Super sweet, hospitable and professional but still carried a funny aura. Will definitely be coming back for her and the atmosphere.

Have been here many times with great food and service, had already eaten dinner there the past 2 nights. This evening though was very frustrated as I wanted to take my 13 year old and sit at the bar and have milkshakes. I found out sitting at the bar is for 21 and over, which doesn’t seem right for a family oriented resort. So we ordered them to go since it was a 30 minute wait for a table. After we ordered she said we could go sit at these tables and wait, so i said ok well we can just eat there, but she said we were not allowed because they are for take out only. Then our milkshakes come out and was very disappointed as they look nothing like the menu and were told because they were ordered to go. So I paid $40 for 2 milkshakes that I could have got at Dairy Queen for 1/4 of the price.

Vicky from B-Lux Grill & Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, her warm smile and attentive service made our dining experience truly exceptional. Not only did she anticipate our needs, but she also offered expert recommendations on menu items, ensuring each dish exceeded our expectations. She even took the perfect polaroid of me and my husband that we are going to adore forever! Her professionalism, combined with genuine friendliness, elevated our evening to new heights. Vicky's dedication to providing top-notch service is commendable, and she is undoubtedly a valuable asset to B-Lux. We can't wait to return and be greeted by her welcoming presence again! Also have to add, the music that they were playing were definitely 10/10!

First time coming to Kalahari and after looking at the dining options I knew we had to try this place because of the milkshakes. Went our first night and ended up coming the second night as well. The food is amazing and the portions are great for the price. When we went the second night we finally got the milkshakes, strawberry cheesecake and the lost weekend boozy milkshake, and both were amazing and well worth it. Also have to mention how nice all the staff is and especially Jacob who was our waiter the second night! He definitely made us laugh and made the experience better not to mention helped us give his opinions on what to get as far as food. (which fyi he was right ;)

The best staff behind the bar!! Vicky was very attentive and took care of everything… before I even knew I needed it! And the Soft Pretzel was the biggest I’ve ever seen!!!Jared the manager was entertaining and very willing to clear up and get his hands dirty! The kind of manager who doesn’t mind helping and remembers where he came from!

Terry was our waitress and was phenomenal!! She was very friendly and at the end of our meal, she gave each of our three kids $20 worth of game cards to use at the arcade. Such a pleasant surprise! The shakes were amazing and so delicious!!

Our waitress was Melanie. Amazing service. Very kind and fast with our food. The restaurant atmosphere was very nice. It was also very clean! The Portobello was what I got and it was fantastic. We did have a very small issue with another meal with a sandwich having very little meat but our server and a manager took care of it so well and were so kind. I would recommend here 100%!!

We had the best experience in BLux Wednesday night for dinner with Katy being super friendly and very attentive. Then ,Thursday for lunch we had an amazing wait staff service again with Dai. She made my daughter's day and possibly her the trip.Whatever it is that you are doing to get the best staff ever, do not ever stop. From the hostess at the entrance to food servers and possibly the best wait staff ever. We will definitely be back.

My family and I dined here last night and had the most wonderful experience.First, let me say that our server Jason was absolutely amazing! Probably the best service we have ever had! He was so kind, and nice and even talked to our 6 year old! He made our experience at this restaurant better than we could ever imagine! The food was wonderful! Drinks were great!Everyone was super friendly, we got right in with no wait.By far the best dining experience we have had in a long time!

Our server Mike was really nice, but the experience overall wasn't worth it. The food is very expensive (burgers are 20+) and doesn't taste good (virtually no flavor or seasoning on anything). We ordered two burgers both cooked medium and they were well done and tasted dry. The loaded pub chips we had as an appetizer were stale and hard to chew. The redeeming factor are the shakes, we had the oreo one and it was really delicious. Don't be fooled by the bougie atmosphere though because besides the shakes and service, this place stinks.

Our waiter Tre W was incredible. I was waffling between two options and he gave honest and amazing advice leading me to one of the best turkey burgers - and best turkey anythings!! - that I’ve ever had. And the cocktails (or milkshake if you get a non-alcoholic one) are absolutely phenomenal and worth the price of admission alone! One of the best eating experiences I’ve ever had.

Lisa was my server and i am glad she was. Super sweet super attentive and made sure i enjoyed my visit. Also per her recommendation i tried cheese curds with caramel dipping sauce, I’m obsessed…

Robyn was an awesome waitress. She smiled the whole time we were there. She was friendly and kind and contributed largely to our positive experience. The food was also very good: servings were large, flavor good, temperature appropriate for the food. The milkshakes are just ridiculous - in a good way.The only suggestion I have is that you should find a different type of paper towel to sit on the table. The roll we had had food all over the top of it, someone probably laid his/her dirty hands on the top of it to pull one off of the roll.Thank you for the wonderful family experience!

My first stop at the Kalahari! I love their mac n cheese. Vicky was super sweet and made the best mudslide. I ordered the wrong dish and didn't realize until it arrived at my table; Vicky was very sweet and understanding, and I got my intended dish in a quick turn around. I'll definitely be back this weekend!

This place is amazing and I would highly recommend coming here. Our waiter was great. He noticed our table was a bit small and asked us if we wanted to go to a booth instead, so we did. Plenty of room for us to eat. He was over all very attentive and always made the effort to check in on us.The wait time was nothing. We got seated immediately and probably waited 15-20 minutes for our food.I ordered the B-Lux burger and oh my, if you want everything on a burger, this is what you should get. I felt like I had the whole kitchen in one bite! It was bursting with flavour and character. I’ve never had anything else like it before. The fries were not my favourite though. They reminded me of a mix between potato chips and Tostitos. Not my style of fry. Overall great experience.

We came on a slow weekday, Thursday, beginning of February, and we really enjoyed it! No wait lines for anything, we received our food really fast! Our waitress was amazing and the food was great! Very generous portions! We really weren't sure how this restaurant would be being a part of a waterpark resort but we were plesantly surprised!Very nice, comfy, quiet ambience to relax from the busy and loud waterpark! Very clean and well maintained.I tried the korean glazed salmon and my husband is always weary of restaurant salmon but he almost ate all of my meal after trying it because it was really good! Nice and juicy salmon, and the veggies and rice it came with was wonderful.Jusy make sure if you are coming from the waterpark, don't come in with your bathing suit. They require you wear shoes and shirt over your bathing suit to enter the restaurant.Overall, highly recommend!

This food was absolutely delicious. but what made everything so much better was the amazing service. our waiter, Shawndre, he was so funny, sweet, and very bright. his energy made our day and dinner so amazing. i couldn’t of asked for better service. definitely will be coming back here everytime.

Melanie was personable and prompt. She built a great rapor with the kids at the table. The food was tasty! The chicken soup was the popular get at the table tonight. Only wish the shake machine was still up and running, the kids would have gotten one!
